Oakmont Eye Care & Optical Boutique

Their wonderful optician (Linda) explained to me that there are two types of people: "our patients," and, "you internet people." The place is beautiful, and everyone else was really nice! Such a shame. Took my frames (and my dollars) to America's Best.

I love the eye specialists at Oakmont. I've always had good experiences until today. I called in to reschedule my appointment because I was unable to drive due to being dizzy. I can't hear and hearing roaring sound from fluid in my ears. The lady told me I was being charged $40 for not giving a 24 hour notice. I understand that but I didn't know yesterday I was going to be unable to drive. I was going to try to keep my appointment and when I tried to walk I definitely wasn't trying to drive so I didn't get to go. Was being charged $40 anyway. Then I received a text saying I had missed 3 appointments and was being charged. I called and was told that they don't go by how long it had been, even though it had been a year, since I called and rescheduled appointment on the day of my appointment. I remember one was when I had the new lung virus that was going around and was worse than COVID. I was sick 3 months and couldn't walk or breathe. So this is why I am giving 2 star rating, otherwise I was happy with the eye doctors. I was never given any warning that if I rescheduled it would cost me. But if you are unable to make it due to sickness then what are you supposed to do?

Very thorough eye exam by Dr Hudson. I'm a life long glasses wearer and she performed the most thorough exam I have ever had. I very much appreciate the attention she gave

Dr. Kari Hudson and Staff at Oakmont have far exceeded my expectations. Definitely worth the drive from Chattanooga to Cleveland for my appointments. The staff is always very prompt at getting be back at my appointment time and Dr. Hudson is always professional, kind and extremely knowledgable in her field. Dr. Hudson's staff took the time with me to help pick out my first pair of glasses. She really helped guide me in the right direction and I love my new glasses. LOVED, loved loved Dr. Kari Hudson!! She is the first doctor that I have been to who made me feel like a person and not a number. She is kind, empathetic, highly knowledgable and efficient. I was seriously blown away. As for Oakmont's staff, they are friendly, welcoming and good at what they do. I would 10/10 recommend Oakmont Eye Care.

We had a great experience at Oakmont Eyecare. Dr. Muegge was so patient with my daughter and took amazing care of her. The staff was absolutely amazing. We will definitely be coming back to Oakmont for all of our eye care needs in the future!

Do not recommend. Not at all responsive to emergencies. Was told " you have another eye", when trying to see my doctor with a hemmorage, and possible torn retina. There are many other professional, high quality providers in the area to choose from.

Dr. Hudson is kind and passionate. She showed that she truly cares for my eye issues. I would highly recommend Oakmont Eye Care. I plan on using them as my primary eye doctor from now on.
