I was like most people, terrified of having their cateracts taken care of. I finally made the call and had them removed. Dr. John Bierly is absolutely a perfectionist. His staff is like a well oiled machine. From the time you go in, there is someone with you informing you of each part of the process. I had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend SouthEast Eye Specialists.

Dr. Jardeleza and the entire staff are always so very nice and caring. I've never had a bad experience in all the time I've been going here. They take time to listen to you, talk with you and make you feel comfortable.

Today my 73 year old father had a follow up appointment after cataract surgery from last week. My father is a diabetic. He went to the bathroom in the office. He became confused and disoriented and a patient helped him to my mom in the waiting room. Another patient found a granola bar and gave to my mother. Not a single staff member stepped in to help. My mom asked if they had juice or a coke and was offered a piece of gum. When I arrived my 73 year old elderly parents were sitting in the car. My dad was still very confused. He did not know where he was or what he was doing there. We called an ambulance. I went in the office again and asked for help. The receptionist said they didn't have anything other than gum. When the ambulance arrived his blood sugar was 59 and that was after a granola bar, a cookie and candy to raise it. I am very upset about how unprofessional of this DR office. I understand that this is a eye dr, but it's about doing the right thing and helping an elderly couple in need.
