The Bradley Eye Care Center - Jerry A. Richt, O.D.

After a horrible experience at another local eye doctor in town I decided to give them a try and everything was outstanding! Staff was very friendly and helpful. I feel like Dr. Richt really took his time and did the most thorough eye exam I have ever had and answered any questions I had. I did not feel rushed out of the exam chair like I did at the previous eye doctor. Will definitely be returning to them as long as I can!

Love the doctor, front desk lady and the lady that helps picking out your glasses but the woman that works in the back needs some work on friendliness and professionalism. Not sure if this is her normal but definitely needs some work! Everything else is great and a wonderful experience.

Have been going to Bradley Eye Care for about 9 years and Dr Richt is great but had a bad experience with his staff on my visit today. Waited an hour only to have them take the person whose appointment was after mine and still leave me waiting. Had to ask when I would be seen and then when they did the lady was not friendly and didn't even apologize for over looking my appointment. Dr Richt is a good Dr but his staff is not.

I have bad eyes so it takes some time for me to get used to new glasses. Even then, what I think is in focus at first turns out not so much later. The friendly folks changed my lenses for me not once or twice but three times due to my inability to see well. Couldn't be more friendly and helpful every time I stopped in to get new lenses and truly wanted to make me happy. Dr. Richt really cares about your eyesight and will spend as much time as needed to make sure you understand and are happy with the visit. When my wife went for her exam, he told her there was no change to her eyesight and she didn't need to purchase any glasses this year. When was the last time someone honestly told you not to spend money on something you don't need? Great doctor, friendly folks, terrific service.

I love Dr. Richt! I've been seeing him for over a decade and my daughter has been seeing him for 6 years. His staff is adequate. I'm not a fan of the one that does the glasses, but I had started getting mine online and just going by there to have them adjusted. We've moved though so now I have to look for someone new. I hope I'm lucky enough to find someone as good as he is.

By far the worst experience for an eye doctor I've ever had. The doctor his self is very knowledgeable and seems to be very friendly. His equipment is extremely outdated his building is extremely old. The reason for the one star is his staff. They were very short and rude to my kids even though they were well-behaved period when trying to fit my daughter for a pair of glasses the lady did not bother checking to see if they would be okay. After receiving them we realize that they weren't fitting properly they told us that we were out of luck that we cannot exchange them that it was our fault. We have not waited over 2 weeks for a pair of glasses for my wife they keep telling us that they are having troubles. Wife was fitted for contacts has had nothing but troubles out of them and cannot reschedule appointment. I would not recommend this place to anyone unless it's your only option because of your insurance. This was not a one-time occurrence out of my three visits all of them were unsatisfactory as soon as we receive our glasses we will be taking her business elsewhere

Today was my first visit with Dr. Richt. I was with my mom at her appointment. She has been a patient of Dr. Richt for well over a year. I was blown away by his patience in answering my questions. My mom's case is quite complex and he took the time to reference his notes, explain her conditions using both medical terminology and laymans terms. Never once was he condescending. He has referenced the eye diagram as he explained things, so we understood exactly what he was referring to. I wish i didn't live so far away, i would most definitely choose Dr. Richt as my ophthalmologist.

Dr. Richt is fairly good at what he is doing and has provided fair care but his receptionist has the worst people skills I've ever had to deal with. She also doesn't seem to know what she's doing. She didn't call me for months after my contacts subscription came in. I had to call her more than a few times just to get it. When I tried scheduling an appointment she would get aggressive on the phone. In general each visit was uncomfortable and unpleasant mainly due to her.
