My husband and I arrived 15 minutes before the date and time they noted on his appointment card only for the receptionist to tell him that he didn't have an appointment. She wouldn't even look at the card they gave him. All she said was that he must have missed his appointment since he wasn't in the computer! He had his card they gave him but she wouldn't even look at it and blamed him then blamed the other receptionist?! So unprofessional and rude. If the receptionist is this bad it reflects poorly on the doctor. We'll gladly make the drive to Elizabethton from now on.

Worst customer service possible.
For the last 5 yearsI have done business with Southwest optical in Abingdon Virginia . Made an attempt to do business local .
Complete waste of time
The lady behind the front desk was rude and made no effort to gather information from my insurance company . I did all the work myself got the authorization code on my own .all she could do is make excuses of why it wasn't her fault it must have been insurance companies fault .
I called Southwest optical and will be picking up my new safety glasses I a few days.
you would think that a new business in a small town we try a little harder .
