The best Optometrist! Dr. Weatherford spends time with each patient, answers any questions I may have and truly cares about my vision and overall health. The competition herds people through like cattle where you are merely just another warm body.

I will never come back here again. I had to wait 45 minutes for a pretty urgent eye medical appointment- not a checkup- still wasn't seen, and told the front desk I was leaving. My time is valuable, too.

It is convenient to Pleasant View, and Dr. Joe Weatherford is extremely nice and patient with kids. That's the only good things I can say about our experience. The organization and front office are terrible. The first time I took my daughter for a contact fitting a few months ago, the lady apparently forgot to write it in the books, so they weren't going to see us and wanted to reschedule. When I stated that I would not be taking off work again and coming back there if I had to reschedule due to their error, they "fit us in". We had to do a follow-up appointment today and had to wait 45 minutes past our appointment. If I showed up 45 minutes late, they would turn us away. This is my biggest complaint with offices lately. If I have an appointment, then that is when I should be seen or very shortly within that period, the same grace period they would give us for showing up late. Loss of work hours and school time is just as valuable for us as it is for them. Also, they didn't have our insurance on file, which I provided just a couple months ago. Where is the organization and record keeping?

Dr. Weatherford is great; however, he's not doing much to ensure his dispensing staff, the ones that help you purchase and fit the glasses, treat patients with respect. I've been there twice in the past two weeks and the first time, we were completely ignored when waiting for someone to help, or even acknowledge us. The gentlemen that works in this area, looked at me and walked away. Didn't even say, I'll be with you in a minute. And then we waited and waited only to be treated like we weren't even standing in front of this person. Went back again to pick up the glasses and, again, his eyes passed over me and he walked away. The lady who also dispenses/fits the glasses, walked right past me too, didn't even say a word. She then proceeds to get a case for the glasses, hands them to me and walks off. Not even a half smile or a thank you. Everyone else is great there, but those that dispense and fit the glasses are rude and dismissive. Dr. Weatherford should view the security footage to see how they "interact" with the patients and also do a bit of Undercover Boss to get to the root of the issue. They're giving the practice a bad name. I will not be back and they could care less.

I absolutely love coming to this doctor. Dr. Weatherford is a wonderful optometrist. He has a wonderful bed side manner. He genuinely seems like he cares. He explains things extremely well. Tyler is amazing when it comes to helping you pick out glasses. He is extremely nice, very knowledgeable and most importantly very patient. The way he explains things to you he doesn't make me feel like an idiot for asking questions. I can not say enough good things about this office. Please keep up the good work and never close. :)

Great experiences with Dr. Weatherford and the entire staff at this office. They are on-point with services and provide excellent care. I am always treated with respect and they are extremely prompt in delivering contacts and glasses. I am very happy with their services. Very congenial atmosphere! Thumbs up!

I have been going to Pleasant View Eye care for a couple of years. It took 6-8 weeks to get an appointment for an exam and glasses. I made an early morning appointment, hoping they wouldn't be behind and I wouldn't have to wait. My days off are precious and usually packed full of things that need to be done. After waiting 40 minutes and still not being called back, I chose to leave. My time is just as valuable as theirs. I won't be back.

This was a pleasant surprise . I have never been to an eye doctor that was so thorough in my life. Not only that, the doctor actually explained various aspects of eyesight issues to me and explained the lenses that might work best with my sight problems. Everyone I dealt with here was wonderful. I highly recommend!
