America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses

Excellent experience finding frames for my wife. She has trouble finding frames at a good price point, but America's Best fits the bill. They have a huge selection of frames to choose from. All of the staff is very friendly and helpful. Bekah was possibly the kindest and friendliest associate we've ever had the pleasure meeting at any eyeglass store anywhere. She was very personable and understanding regarding prescription needs and budget conscious. Wife was very happy with her purchase. We will definitely return in the future to America's Best. Highly recommend to anyone looking for contacts or glasses.

UPDATE: I spoke with Teresa the General Manager and also the Regional Manager and they asked me to give them another chance and see their in person doctor. I just had my appointment today and it was a night and day difference. I was in and out in about 30 min with a new pair of glasses. This was my first pair of glasses so I needed some help with choosing a style that looked good on my face and going through the various options. The staff was great and the in person doctor was great to work with. He explained my conditions in a way that made sense and helped me to understand why i'd been getting headaches and difficulties driving at night. Much better experience with the in person doctor and I will go back for a second pair. Probably pick up prescription sun glasses. Original Review Below: Originally I went in on a weekend as a walk-in but they were busy which I understand. I made an appointment for me and my wife the following week. We showed up to our appointment 10 min early. An hour after our scheduled time we still hadn't been seen. I decided to reschedule for the following day and was told Wednesdays are usually slower so should be faster. When I arrived the next day I was told there was one person ahead of me and should go quick. 1 hour and 15 min later I still haven't been seen by the doctor. the person ahead of me had come out of the doctors room 30 min earlier. At which point I chose to leave. I don't know if my experience was rare, but to have two different days where I made appointments and waited over an hour after my appointment time is disrespectful at best. I won't be giving them a third chance. I'm giving two stars instead of 1 because the staff themselves were great and very apologetic. they weren't sure what was taking the doctor so long. I understand it wasn't their fault, but still disappointing to say the least.

Don't bother making an appointment, it wont matter. Your time is not valued. The idea of a remote eye doctor seems fine. The reality of a remote eye doctor is inefficient time management since the eye doctor is trying to perform the "exams" for multiple locations at the same time. Make that make sense. The staff were super friendly though. No need to respond with the same generic response given to the other reviews. I don't need to talk to corporate about your time management issues, i already have a new eye doctor.

I went in yesterday for my first appointment. I waited about 5 minutes and was taken in for some initial questions and a small exam, when done I sat in waiting room for the Dr. who came out to get me in less that 5 minutes. The Dr. was very thorough and explained everything going on in my eyes (not good news). The Dr and staff were so professional and sweet. Aside from my eye issues, it was a great experience, I will be returning for sure with all my family needs. Thank you!!!

I had made my appointment in late afternoon on a sunday online for the next day with ease . When I got to the office I was greeted warmly and checked in very quickly . The tech took me in within 5 to 10 minutes to do my pressure test etc .Another 5 to 10 minute wait and the optometrist brought me back . I will say he seemed newer to the practice but another doctor also let me know they were using a new system . My exam was very quick but nothing was missed . My prescription for glasses and contacts was several years behind but it was no issue . All the staff there were amazing and I will absolutely be going back .

Ten stars if I could!! It was such a pleasure to be taken care of by this group of genuinely warm, friendly, intelligent women. The exam was high tech and thorough which was so cool. And they have a fantastic, huge selection of frames in various colors and styles. Google maps directed me into the Publix shopping center next door but I bet that'll be fixed once Google sends another mapping car that way.

This was my first time going to America's Best and now I won't go anywhere else! The staff is wonderful and they have great prices on their eyeglasses! If you are looking for new glasses look no more!!

RUDE RUDE STAFF!!! Waste of time and money. Better off going to eyeglass world where when you buy insurance they cover the glasses and lenses- unlimited for a year! NOT this place though. If I could leave a zero star I would.
