My husband told me that the man and the woman working there were rude about it being three months since he was due back.
My husband is probably the nicest guy in the world and of course he didn't want me to say anything.
The doctor, however, was very kind and understanding. I think it would be a shame for him to lose business because his employees don't know how to keep their mouths shut.
This is the second review that involves his staff being rude so I hope he is able to see it and make changes.
They did give my husband another trial pair, and again, the doctor was kind. This is why I gave 3 starts instead of one.
I think his staff needs to understand that life happens and we lost track of time. It isn't the staff's business or concern. It was between my husband and his doctor.

I see why the rating is so low. It's the front desk girl. She's not friendly and doesn't have much patience. I was stressed bc of it. The Dr's are fantastic . It was my first time getting an exam and contacts. The Dr's were very informative and easy going g.

Dr. Fitzgerald and his staff always go above and beyond with wonderful patient care. He is caring, concise and very through each time I visit his office; and I couldn't be more pleased. The office staff always have a friendly and warm greeting for everyone and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable.

I had an eye exam yesterday. Being a new patient I thought it would take a long time but I was taken care of very quickly, and had the most thorough eye exam by Dr Fitzgerald that I have ever had. I was very pleased by the way I was treated by everyone from reception to wonderful woman who helped me pick glasses and the gentleman that saw me before the doctor. I highly recommend them to anyone. Plus most affordable glasses that I purchased 2 pair cheaper then I've paid in the past for 1.

The office staff here is very rude, but the optometrist was very friendly. My son did not get back in for his follow up in a timely manner for his contact fitting, and the rude lady at the desk handed his file to another lady and said have fun with this one. Really??? You have no idea what, or if there was a reason he couldn't get back within the period of time. No money out of your pocket!!! Besides, it's none of your business the reason. Being a patient, we pay your salary!

We visited Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge over the weekend. My husband lost a contact and with the hustle and bustle of trying to get down there with a new baby, I forgot to pack extras just in case. We looked up where we could go as soon as it happened and found the vision center was open until 6! We rushed over to find the doctor left at 12. The lady that "helped" him let him know there was nothing she could do since there wasn't a doctor. (Why they were even open was beyond me) When he came outside to let me know, I called in begging her to please let us have a sample or call the doctor to see if there was something he could do because we had a new baby and were over 4 hours from home. She quickly let me know that I "should have thought about packing extra contacts when we travel". I was so upset that his entire weekend was a struggle because he only had 1 contact. As I was asking what else we could do, she said to drive to Knoxville and then HUNG UP ON ME! The lack of professionalism was appalling. I feel sorry for anyone that has to deal with her.

I went the other day and got my eye test @ Dr. Fitzgerald they were fantastic! I would give a 5 STAR RATING, but I then went next door to the vision center and found out my insurance paid for most of my glasses so I ordered them. I went to pick them up today and got a copy of my prescription when I asked for my PD she told me it was against the law for them to give that information out. Not only did my insurance pay, but I paid the difference and the PD is part of my prescription. She refused to give it to me. I've looked everywhere and there is NO law stating they can't give it to you just their choice. So needless to say it will be the last time I do business with Wal-Mart vision center. I've had my eyes checked before at places I didn't order glasses & they even included my PD on there. Bad decision in my book I paid for glasses and prescription you could have give me my PD.
