This is the place to be if you are in need of eye-care services. Doctor Joslin and his staff are very professional and provide a high-level of service and care. This is undoubtably the best eye-care center in the area.

I'm a new patient. I was able to obtain an eye exam appointment within two weeks. Very competent team throughout. No pushy sales. You don't feel rushed. The overarching feeling is that the team there has genuine concern for your health and the experience you have at their facility. The optometrist took time to learn my history and after a thorough examination with the latest equipment explained my eye health and what I might expect over the next year. The appointment started on time and each of the five staff members I encountered were polite and capable. Impressive group. I can recommend.

This doctor will not take your concerns seriously & will violate the Eyeglasses Rule. They are not even worth the one star. 1st, I went in Sept. w/ a specific concern. They asked if I was having trouble seeing near or far. I said neither & expressed my concern. The dr did diagnose the issue but told me that fixing my near and far vision should resolve the problem. I trusted the dr but should not have. This is like putting a band aid where stitches or staples are needed. I was also sold glasses before being given my rx which is a violation of the Eyeglass Rule. The glasses I bought were not made correctly. 1st, they had a gray tint. They were re-made, and I still could not adjust to them. I planned to go back the next week to have them adjusted, but over the weekend, the glasses were damaged because I was constantly taking them off. Of course, there was nothing they could do but sell me another pair at full price. I bought a pair from Zenni & the pair from Zenni worked great- I adjusted to them right away. Another optician told me it is likely that Joslin measured my PD incorrectly as I could not adjust to the glasses they made after 2 weeks, but I adjusted to the Zenni glasses w/in a day. The glasses not made correctly cost me a lot of money. Because my concerns were not addressed & my glasses were made incorrectly, I ended up buying 6 pairs of glasses in 10 months before I finally got a pair with the correct rx that was made correctly. So, going to this dr is a very expensive mistake. My eyes continued to get worse and worse. I was suffering from horrible eye strain & fatigue. 7 months later, I could no longer stand it, so I made a 2nd apt in May. The dr again brushed off my concerns & was literally walking out the door stating that a minor adjustment to the rx for my right eye is all I needed & she wouldn't worry about my left eye since it's not bothering all the time. The whole reason I made the apt was because my left eye was worse & it was bothering me ALL THE TIME! I knew at this point I needed the actual issue addressed, so I literally begged the dr to treat my left eye. Thankfully, once I begged, the dr FINALLY adjusted my rx to fix the actual problem I had, but rather than give me my rx (another violation of the Eyeglass Rule), she required me to buy a patch for my glasses from them 1st. The patch was supposed to come in 1 week. After 2 weeks, I called to check on the patch and was told it was backordered. I asked for my rx, but was told I couldn't have it b/c it was not "finalized." I asked for a rx for the patch but was told it would be backordered everywhere. Almost another week later, they called & wanted me to order 2 patches instead of 1. I asked why and they said 2 patches would arrive more quickly. I asked how much more quickly, and they hung up to check. When they called back, they told me they ordered 1 patch as it would arrive at almost the same time as 2. So, the patch that was supposed to arrive in 1 week was finally ordered almost 3 weeks later. Meanwhile, I am suffering with unbelievable eye strain and fatigue! When the patch arrived, I was told to check in a week later. When I called to check in, the receptionist answered the phone and seemed confused as to why I would need to check in. I explained I needed to check in so my rx could be "finalized." At that point she asked how I wanted the prescription sent to me, and then as an afterthought she asked how the patch was working. I did not talk to a dr or optician to finalize my prescription. They did not need me to come in or even answer any follow up questions. Apparently, all they needed to finalize my rx was my MONEY. Now that I bought that patch from them, they finally released my rx. My rx was held hostage until I bought something from them- this is a MAJOR violation of the Eyeglass Rule. It cost me money, but worse, it cost me more than a month of additional pain and suffering. Do not use this dr unless you have money to burn and like to suffer from eye pain.

I am more than happy with my first experience at Joslin Eye Center. Dr. Cannon was so nice and took the time to make sure all questions that I may have were answered. Zoey was very professional as well. When choosing my glasses, MaKayla was so helpful in helping me try on numerous pairs of glasses and not being forceful on any choices. She went over all details of my insurance plan. This will definitely be my new home for vision needs.

My wife has been a patient with Joslin Eye Center for the past few years. She has always tried to get me to switch but I stubbornly stayed with our other optometrist. This year I decided it was time for a change. I should have listened to my wife and changed doctors sooner. Everything about Joslin was different. While still being very professional and thorough they also were just a fun personable place to visit. They also offer a pretty good selection of frames, but again it was the staff who knowing the product offerings found something I really liked. I picked up my glasses yesterday and would have to say that my vision is clearest it's been in years. You would not go wrong giving them a try the next time you're in need of an exam. I'm glad I finally listened to my wife and did!

They have added an new Doctor named Daisy Cannon. She is phenomenal. She saw my son and me today for the first time and spent a good 45 minutes with us. She is very thorough. Also, the owner Doctor's have always been wonderful as well. Dr. Bryce saw me on the same day when I had a medical eye issue. Great practice, added wonderful new talented doctor, just an all around good experience every time. Top notch front desk staff as well. We could not be happier. Kevin Ogle

I went to Joslin & Joslin Eye Care in Seymour, TN for an eye exam appointment this week. From the registration, to the eye exam, to check out process, I have to say this is the nicest and friendless staff members that I have ever seen. Each person went out of their way to make me feel welcome and to offer assistance to me. Extremely knowledgeable staff members in each step process of my eye exam. I feel that the exam was performed with up scale technical equipment. The doctor was great she explained all details of my eye exam. I love Joslin & Joslin Eye Center in Seymour, TN and highly recommend them to anyone need eye care.

I am so impressed and grateful for this doctor and office! I've been going here for the last five years. I have a 4 and 2 year old and now a newborn, my last three annual exams I've had my kids with me and the office staff and Dr. Brian Joslin have always been so kind, patient and understanding. My last visit, yesterday, I had my newborn with me that I ended up needing to nurse. The office staff asked me if I needed to feed her and went out of their way to find me a private space to nurse. I didn't want to get my appointment behind, but they assured me that was no problem. The doctor himself was so kind and understanding and never said a word about our appointment starting late and was so efficient in getting me out quickly. I cannot recommend this friendly and professional business enough!!
