Outstanding!! Dr Foutch (the younger Foutch) has always been my Dr when at their office. He has been great. Going on 3 years or so and I am very happy with his care and service with each visit. My son sees the elder Dr Foutch and he too has a great experience. I appreciate that there are still local optometrists in the Smithville area. I highly recommend!

Poor customer service. Receptionist handed me contacts and sent me on my way. Doctor didn't check fit, vision acuity or give any care information. Also, usually new contacts come with a care kit. I received nothing. Good chance I will be heading to Nashville for my vision care. After the above visit, Dr. Hunter Foutch called me to apologize and explain. His explanation was that a miscommunication had occurred. I understood completely and appreciated his willingness to call and talk to me. I made a new appointment. The service and care was outstanding. I will be going back.

When I saw this Dr a couple years ago, I tried to forget about this visit. I was recently reminded of it so I thought I'd share. Nice enough guy to talk to, fine. It's when it came to the exam that pissed me off. I had to do the blinding light test to see in the back of my eye, so the Dr could take a picture. First time- he didn't get it. I say ok, he can try again. 2nd time- didn't get it. OK, I guess 3rd time is a charm. "I'm not happy with the 3rd picture.. I need to take a fourth." That's when I put my foot down. "No, you had three chances to take a picture, I'm not going to be blinded any longer. Use what you have" It just upset me. You've been doing this for how long and you can't get a proper picture on the first or second try? Are you trying to blind me on purpose? This doctor sucks. Staff is nice, though.

I have been a patient here for many years and I'm so grateful for the staff, and the doctors. Staff is like family, selection of eyewear is phenomenal!!!! Dr Foutch and his staff are great! Also a great place to go and get the newest style frames and I've bought my last 3 pair of sunglasses there.
