Amplified Vision

Every once in awhile, a business is so impressive that it warrants a thorough Google review. Amplified Vision is that. It is different from any other doctor's office I've ever been in! When you walk in, you feel like you're in the home of a cool friend with a vintage vibe, and records spinning on their turntable. Presley greeted me with a smile and got me checked in, and I immediately got the sense that everyone there loves their job. They're like a little family and you're welcomed right in. Kennah said hi and quickly noticed that I was tilting my head back to see out of my glasses. I wasn't even aware I was doing this. My ill-fitting progressives were causing me neck pain and headaches and I didn't realize the problem. I *hate* picking out glasses. (Years ago, I even let my 4 year old daughter make the decision for me because I couldn't.) At Amplified Vision, instead of wandering aimlessly around and frustratedly trying on glasses by myself, Courtney, their fun and gifted optician, enthusiastically said she would help me find the perfect pair. She looked at the shape of my face, asked about my style preferences, and started handing me glasses to try on. This woman knows what she's doing. She'd say yay or nay almost the second they were on my face, and it was a relief to have help with this task because I needed her expertise. Jaidyn, the technician who handles all the pre-exam tests, is so sweet and clearly a pro at what she does. They have technology I had never seen before. Then came the exam with Dr. Brooks Grant. I am in my fifties and have been wearing glasses or contact for most of my life, and I've never had an eye exam this thorough. He spent so much time and was never rushed. And you know that moment of self-doubt when you're looking at the eye charts and are asked, "Which is better, A or B?" but the letters barely look different and you can't decide? It stresses me out. Dr. Brooks remedied that by putting the options side-by-side so I could compare them! It was a small thing but I had never seen that done before and it made me feel even more confident about the exam. You can tell that for Dr. Grant and his entire team, this isn't just a job. It is their mission. They are faithful stewards. You see it in their joyful hearts and the way they greet every patient by name. My glasses were ordered and came in sooner than promised. Picking them up was so exciting! Kennah presented them to me in a beautiful gift bag and everyone gathered around. The unboxing was met with the kind of excitement you'd expect from friends watching you open a birthday present. And the best part? For the first time ever, my progressive lenses worked perfectly from the moment I put them on. I can see! I can't recommend Amplified Vision highly enough. They have amplified not only my vision but my expectation for what excellent eye care looks like.

They took the time to explain everything in detail, making sure I felt comfortable and well-informed throughout the process. Excellent customer service from scheduling to check out! Every contact we had at this office has been stellar. We have had Dr Grant perform our yearly eye exams since 2015. His expertise and attention to detail does not disappoint. His assistant with the exams is very professional and thorough.

I'm posting this review unprompted because I have truly had excellent experiences at Amplified Vision. Dr. Grant and his staff are thorough, knowledgeable, and genuinely care about patients. I recommend this eye doctor to everyone I know!

These people care about your eye health. We have been going to Dr. Grant for a couple of years! He and his staff are AMAZING!!! Not only my family are great friends with him and his staff, we go to the same church and I love that they have Christian values when it comes to their business. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

Easily the best in the biz. Amplified Vision has some of the friendliest people working there. Everyone is so positive and you can tell that the work environment is top notch. The staff was very helpful in picking out frames to suit your tastes. Pricing is very affordable. Dr. Grant is the best. He makes the exam process smooth and comfortable. He takes the time to get to know his patients on a personal level. I'd highly recommend!

10/10 would recommend to a friend or a complete stranger. First things first, they've got a good vinyl collection and they have great taste in music. The staff is so professional and courteous! They don't make you feel like cattle being herded or like just another patient to be seen before the day ends. Dr Grant was super nice, down to earth, and explains everything he's doing and seeing as he's doing it and seeing it. There's a reason this place has such outstanding google reviews, they hype is real y'all.

This is my first visit to this office. The staff was very friendly and extremely professional. Dr Grant was great! Dr Grant explained everything in detail. The entire staff did a great job! Liked listening to the LP music too! Bob Marley was playing and enjoyed listening to it!
