Dr Hawkins is so sweet, personable and friendly. She listens to exactly what you need for your vision. I went to her last year knowing I needed help with my vision. The staff was super helpful letting my try on frames for as long as I wanted to. My glasses were perfect. I did not realize how much I needed them. I went today a year later to have my eyes examined and wanted to start using contacts. Dr Hawkins listened to what I wanted. We discussed wearing contacts for my normal vision and readers for up close usage. She explained in detail how contacts work with me using byfocal glasses and changing to contacts. I was sat down with a sweet and patient staff member who helped me on how to place the contacts and remove them. Dr Hawkins and her staff then examined me eyes again. She was just as happy and excited as I was to wear my contacts that feel like they are not even there. I 10 out of 10 recommend Dr Hawkins and the staff of Advanced Eye Care. There are other optometrist there that are probably great but I would highly recommend setting an appointment with Dr Hawkins. Thank you for such a great experience today!!!!!!

Dr Vanessa Anderson took her time at making sure that my prescription for my vision was perfect. Joanne Crump was so patient with me in helping to decide on frames that would fit my strong prescription. She gave me her honest opinion on what frames would look the best. As a new patient of Advanced I'm very disappointed in the time frame of my glasses . I ordered my glasses before the Christmas holiday and they said it would be a little bit after the new year. January 15 and I still don't have glasses. I will say the doctor was amazing but next year I probably won't go back because when you order glasses it's because you're having a hard time seeing . Kind of disappointing because a coworker recommended them and again Dr Anderson was amazing, but there is several other eyecare places that will have your glasses in either one day or less than a week for alot cheaper . I hope I don't have issues with them once they arrive . Fingers crossed.

My husband and I saw Dr Taylor. Her and her staff were amazing!!! and it was a wonderful experience. She really listened and cared about our eye health and issues.

I usually love Advanced eye care. Live most of the staff. I feel like I was taken for a very expensive ride the last visit. The front desk informed me when I asked if I had to do the photo procedure on my daughter and myself (that costs 35$ and insurance dosen't cover) that we had to do it every year. The next day my husband asked the same thing they said it's not mandatory. Then when we wanted to switch from daily to weekly contacts they charged a 60$ "try on" fee. Man just make sure you ask every step

Testing seemed to be thorough and personnel were personable and helpful. I have always been impressed with Dr. Thompson and her thoroughness.

I have been coming here for years and Dr. Thompson always has gotten my prescription correct and fixed my seeing double.

I've been going to advance eyecare for about 10 years I believe. And I wouldn't go anywhere else. Even when I moved away when I would come into town to visit, I'd go to advance eyecare to get my glasses. When I was younger, and I couldn't afford frames, they make me feel bad for ordering things online and bringing them in to have the lenses fit. Even when I broke my frames that weren't bought from them, they held me fix them. I've always seen Dr. Daphne, And I've always had a wonderful experience, And he's always explained everything to me when I asked questions. If you're new in town or been a local Amarillo your whole life, I'd recommend going to advance eyecare. I'm biased towards Dr. Daphne, but I'm sure any of their doctors are fantastic on staff. I just wanna give a quick shout out to Trinity. She helped to pick out some glasses and sunglasses. She didn't try to sell me anything, or force anything. She was very genuine, And she helped me find the right pair for me and crunched all the numbers right in front of me so I knew exactly what I was going to pay walking out the door. She definitely deserves a raise! Camila Checked me out when I was leaving, And she was also very kind and very genuine. I think she also deserves a raise. Whoever is in charge, good job hiring good staff. You guys have a great service and have always treated me very well. God bless you guys!
