I waited a while with other patients to see Dr. Dixon. And I was among the final of her long day. Her team treated me as if I were the first of the day! Thanks girls You might wait a while but the best is for those who wait. Thanks for "watching" out for me old eyes...

Great doctor and staff. Very knowledgeable and caring. Its worth the wait to have a glaucoma specialist in our area. Her expertise is priceless for protecting and extending our vision. Very thankful.

Dr Ambler Dixon is a great doctor, but the wait time is honestly insane. It would be more beneficial if she had more glycoma Dr's as good as her to treat the amount of patients coming in. Just food for thought.

Dr Dixon is a very good Dr that I owe an apology too for being rude. I have been with her since she came to the Panhandle. First in Borger then Pampa and Amarillo I know she has so many people that she has helped and we need her. I just which she could arrange her scheduling different so we didn't have such a long wait . Tthe doctor is very good. The office sucks. I had a 3:50 appointment. I arrivved at 3:30 and waited over an hour and a half to get eye drops put in. They told me to go sit in the waiting room. I then waited till 7:45 to be taken back.lo see the Doctor. Over 30 people were called up. before me. I was the last , the last person in the waiting room. This is the second time that this has happened to me. The wait time seems to be between 3 to 4 hours, not the 2 hours it should be. There is no excuse that 30 other people should have gone before me. My ride was pissed because of the wait. Really messed up his day. I left the building at 8:10. The only car in the lot.

..friendly staff who treats me like a person not just another patient. Dr Dixon is comforting with her knowledge and explanation of my eye ailments..always feel positive after an appointment with her.

Appointment was at9:05 called back at 9:45 laser performed and finished at 10:10. Had to wait 1 hour returned at 11:10 to get my eye pressure done. I had to set for over 2 1/2 hours waiting. I finally went back to check in desk and complained. They took me in right then and did my eye pressure less than 5 minutes.i was there for over 5 1/2 hours. My appointment the week before was also over 5 hours. Not very efficient

I find it very hard to except the lack of communication between Dr and patient. As the doctor examines my eyes basically speaks in code to the technician what she sees, but fails to explain to me her findings. Then when I ask, it's a short answer That basically leaves me feeling dejected. There should be some level of transparency when you're dealing with something as important as a person's vision. We're alfrady feeling some kind of way because our vision is compromised then to be treated like you don't need to know what's wrong with your vision, only the doctor needs to know is not OK. At the end of every visit, there should be a clear understanding of the changes, improvements, or if crucial medical steps need to be taken. I'm not a doctor. I don't know all of the medical terms but I'm no dummy and I would like to be spoken to in a manner that I am not being made to feel my questions are stupid or unimportant.
