Look Optical

This is the absolute worst place to get contacts or glasses. Initially, I ordered glasses, and Contacts paid for them. My glasses after a year. Still, we're not ready, so I agreed to allow him to give me contacts to replace the glasses. He did deliver a few pair at a time. But I never got the full years worth of contacts, and I always had to try and get a hold of him to get any contacts. It takes him forever to respond if he does respond. I never got a response from my last text message to his Direct cell phone number. I'm thinking of reaching out to the better business bureau, and possibly the Attorney general. Do yourself a favor. Don't go here.

My father has been waiting for his glasses since July 3rd, 2024! He is 82 and has stage 4 cancer. Having to wait 3 months is absolutely ridiculous. I can't believe this place is even up and running with all the negative (and completely warranted) reviews. Oh wait, they're taking, or more like stealing, peoples money and not giving the product. I'll be visiting this store while im in Amarillo. Something will be done!!!

I loved this place at first but ordered and paid for my glasses back in November of 2021 and I'm still waiting for them today. It's been a little over 4 months. Tried calling numerous times since November to now and had to leave a message but never got a return call back. Will be looking for a new place to purchase my glasses from now on. Still waiting for my glasses.

I ordered my glasses on December 3rd and we are about to be in February and I have not received my glasses. I've been patient enough with all the reasons why my glasses are supposedly taking so long. This is a great place to get your eyes examined but pointless to get glasses because you will never get the glasses you ordered.

I paid for glasses for myself and my kids on 2/1/2023. Joel has given me the run around telling me twice he would bring our glasses to me and then does not show up or call, and if I call him, I get voicemail from my number. He answers other numbers says let me call you right back, and I receive no call." I will never use Look Optical again, and I would seriously warn against anyone else using them unless you want to get your glasses right before its time for a new prescription. I can not believe that anyone would manage any company this way. We were told 10 days 30 days at the most we are almost 3 months out! Give me our glasses, my God! I will be calling the BBB tomorrow if this is not resolved.

I have been waiting three months for my glasses. The one time they answered I was told "it should be here Friday". Um no. Went in and was told the same thing. Several Fridays have come and gone. I've called a few times and left messages but no call back. If I hadn't paid half down I'd say screw it and go somewhere else. Either refund me or give me my glasses, but they're not going to keep my money. With my luck and by the time I get them, if I get them, my prescription will have changed. Very disappointed.

On November 6, 2021 I ordered 2 pair of glasses from Look Optical. My portion of the charge was $578.00 which does not include what he charged my insurance compay, The owner of the store took my order. Throughout November and December of 2021 and into the first several months of 2022, the owner continued to use excuses, such as supply chain issues. He would tell me he would look it up, then state they were in shipment and should be here next week. These types of discussions continued through April of 2022, at which time I gave up, ordered a pair of glasses from another store. Recieved them within a week. The owner said he would refund my money. Thus far I've not recieved a refund. I would not order eyeware from this store!

TERRIBLE!!!! Joel is the only person working in the glasses department due to short staff. No one ever answers the phone or calls back (he even gave me his personal number!) and has been stringing me along for over 2 months when it should've only taken 2 weeks. I have been nothing but patient and all I've asked for is communication, but I don't even get that. They need to STOP taking orders if they can't fulfill the ones they already have. I am beyond pissed.
