I have been going to Clarkson Eyecare for years and I every annual visit goes really well. They have great welcome and checkin people, a great optometrist assistant who is friendly but professional and a great doctor who takes me through the more detailed testing and fully explains any updated eyecare needed (in my case glasses). I'm never disappointed and I walk away feeling that my eyecare is in great hands.

I have been with this location since 2014. When the practice became Clarkson Eyecare, it started to go corporate and the friendly atmosphere of a local mom and pop doctor office was gone. I switched to another practice and was amazed at all the services they provided at no additional charge. OptoMap not covered by insurance, no problem they don't charge. Clarkson sure does. I also have never come out of their feeling like my eyes had the best prescription possible. I had Lasik several years ago, now I need readers, this isn't difficult but it seemed to be for them. If you don't fit the standard queue in the system of questions they seem baffled and unhelpful. A stye resulted in referrals to specialists that were even worse. Finally went somewhere else and could not be happier (even though it is nearly an hour drive to get to).

They called me to schedule a follow-up appointment because, according to the doctor, I needed one. I went twice because the first appointment was too soon. I asked several times if I needed to pay for the visit, even before making the appointment. And now I've received a bill from them saying I have to pay for the follow-up visits. I called them to find out why, and now they say I do have to pay. I'm very disappointed with the place, and I don't think I'll be taking the rest of my family there
