Today I had a visit with Dr. Hasnain Nizar, and I've never had a more thorough eye exam. He took the time to explain everything he was seeing and answered all of my questions in a way that was easy to understand. I've never had an optometrist examine the back of my eyes so carefully, and it truly made me feel confident in the care I was receiving. I felt heard, informed, and well taken care of. Highly recommend Dr. Nizar. Also his team is sooo nice!

Dr. Nizar was excellent--kind, thorough, and genuinely attentive. He took time to explain everything clearly, answered my questions without rushing, and made the actual exam a very positive experience. I felt listened to and well cared for medically. That said, the front office and support staff experience was... less than polite. Not outwardly hostile, but not especially warm or helpful either. The contrast between how great Dr. Nizar was and how mid the rest of the experience felt was noticeable. Overall, I'd sort of recommend Belton Vision because of Dr. Nizar, and I'll return for that reason alone. With a bit more consistency in customer service from the rest of the staff, this place could easily be a 5-star experience.

Dr Nizar was great! He's very knowledgeable and personable. Unfortunately, my experience with the rest of the staff wasn't as good. I was shamed for having my baby with me at my appointment. "I don't know how you will be able to be examined with that baby here, he's in the way", were the exact words his assistant said to me as she took me back to the room. I was also left to stand in the cold with my baby until exactly 8 AM, even though the front desk clerk could clearly see me outside the doors at 7:55AM. I understand hours are from 8-5, however, if your appointments begin at 8 sharp, I would think letting someone in to check in 5 minutes early wouldn't be a big deal. The experience with the office staff overall was poor.

I am a 51-year-old disabled man with a stroke, & i try to be understanding to others, and I understand communication is everything.... with that said... I'm sitting in my car crying and still in shock. I'm leaving this review as-is unless the doctor would like the opportunity to make this right. I do not appreciate the way I was spoken to today. I was told to come in to pick up my contact lenses, but there was already a problem because I did not receive enough lenses to complete my original trial. The doctor and I were very clear about what I was supposed to receive. I was supposed to receive three different sets of contacts: One new box, which I truly appreciate. A few lenses from one of my original trial brands, because I only have three left and, as the doctor agreed, three lenses are not usable--you need pairs. A few lenses from the second original trial brand, since I was also running low on those. The doctor specifically said this was not a problem and that he would provide a few of each original trial lens, in addition to the new box. Instead, when I arrived, I was only given the new box. I understand that miscommunication happens, and I don't mind coming back on Monday to correct it. What I cannot overlook is the way I was treated by the staff member at the front desk. I am a sir, not a ma'am, yet I was repeatedly addressed incorrectly. When I tried to calmly explain the situation, I was interrupted multiple times. At one point, I was told--very condescendingly--that I had "six minutes" to speak, as if I were a child. This was after I had already been interrupted several times. I even said, politely, "I've let you speak--may I talk now?" and still, I was interrupted again. In total, I was interrupted three times before I could finish even one sentence. If I was truly being given six minutes, I don't understand why I wasn't allowed to speak without being cut off. I asked calmly, "Are you done speaking so I can explain now?" but I still wasn't allowed to finish my thoughts. Her dismissive tone and demeanor made me feel insignificant and disrespected. This was not customer service. It was unnecessary and demeaning. I am 51 years old. I have had a stroke, and driving is difficult for me. I am not asking for sympathy--only basic respect. I paid for my fitting, followed instructions, and simply asked for what the doctor himself said was fine. To be very clear: the issue is not that I only received the new box today. I understand mistakes happen, and I can live with returning on Monday. What has left me shaken and still crying is the way I was spoken to--being interrupted repeatedly, spoken to condescendingly, and misgendered. I truly believe this was a simple communication breakdown between the doctor and the staff member who prepared the contacts. I don't believe the doctor would disagree with what he told me directly. I would have even been fine with receiving just a small number of lenses from the new box. The problem is not the logistics--it's the disrespect. I hope the doctor reaches out so this can be resolved respectfully. Until then, this review will remain..... with all of that said, the doctor did apologize and made everything right by giving me the contacts to try, and again apologize which I appreciate!

belton vision helped me get my exam and choose my glasses quicker than ever before! the staff was extremely kind and attentive, the optometrist was wonderful and explained everything that was going to happen (the exam process) and explained what we were seeing in the photos of my eyes. i stepped out of my comfort zone and got a different shaped frame than usual and the confidence the frame and employees gave me was unmatched! very happy and thankful for the worked they did.
