Greene Eyes

I'm so pleased with my recent eye care from Greene Eyes! My husband and I got exams, new glasses and sunglasses, and we love the results!! We are "looking good"! The staff was very kind and efficient, and the eye doc always goes the extra mile to explain all the options and insure customer satisfaction!

Do NOT patronize this establishment. I've not once left a bad review before. On any platform, for any reason. I have never felt so uncomfortable in an place of business before. My gut told me something wasn't right, and I left feeling so angry with myself for allowing them to gaslight me, lie to me, and quite literally--scam me. If you haven't been there before, and perhaps even if you have, they will try to sell you their "eye imaging" service that is, of course, not covered by insurance. if you decline this service at the check in desk, they will take you into the screening room, tell you that it is mandatory, and that you're crazy if you think you've never had to do so before. They will even tell you it's required BY LAW. I told them I for sure had not and declined their service initially. I then listed several places I've had exams in town that didn't require imagine for a routine eye exam. They said they personally know the doctors at eye trends and visionworks--and that they 100% require the same. They do not. I NEEDED an appointment that day, so I allowed them to take advantage of me. DO NOT be like me. To top it off, while they're exploiting your need for eye care, they'll talk smack about you behind your back, in English and Spanish, and think you don't notice. Read reviews below mine. More credible people than I had similar experiences. Go to eye trends, or heck, go to Walmart. Close your eyes and point to one. I promise you. It'll be a better experience. ***Edited 15 minutes after posting to add that they claimed eye screening was a legal requirement***

Greene Eyes has been my optometrist "go to" for several years now. I love the efficiency of her office and the friendliness/professionalism of her staff. Best of all is the care provided by Dr. Mindi. She is thorough and she explains everything in a way that's easy for non-professionals to understand. I love that I always feel like I'm her favorite and most important patient. You can tell that in addition to her vast medical knowledge, she has the kindest heart. I highly recommend that you trust Greene Eyes with your eye health. You won't be sorry.

I called to see if they took walk ins and fortunately they had appointment available same day. Went for my eye exam (which I was way past due) and the staff and Dr Kavanaugh, were amazing. They were all kind and polite. Dr Kavanaugh is very professional and caring!! Highly recommend this facility.

I had an excellent experience at Greene Eyes! They were thorough, patient, and explained everything clearly. The staff was friendly and the entire visit felt extremely comfortable and professional. I feel confident in my care and would highly recommend them to anyone needing eye care!

I couldn't be happier with the service both my teenage daughter and I received. Dr. Mindi and her staff were kind and patient with us, walking the two of us through each step of the appointment and explaining options for our diagnoses. I appreciated how Dr. Mindi took the time to explain the science behind what was going on with my daughter's eyes, because it allowed us to make some choices with all the facts. Great office!

My family has been using Greene Eyes for many years now. Dr. Mindi is very thorough, takes her time, and really explains what is going on with my eyes. She is especially patient and kind to our granddaughter, who has needed glasses from a very early age. We love Dr. Kavanaugh and her great staff!

Dr Kavanaugh and her staff are incredible! From the moment you walk in, you feel like you're family. Dr K spent as much time with me as I needed and was incredibly thorough. I have been having big problems....not anymore! You literally cannot ask for a better experience at any medical appointment. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr K and will be returning when the need arises! Thank y'all so much for the time and the care!
