Very frustrated with this location. The care and exams have always been fine. The issues are usually with scheduling. The Dallas location texted me a few months ago asking me to confirm my appointment. I asked to reschedule and they said they would get back to me, but they never did. I scheduled online and waited for a confirmation email which I never got (the website says to wait for a confirmation email). I called the location three times and nobody ever answered the phone. I had to call a different location to make sure that they could confirm my appointment with me so I didn't show up without an appointment. Not worth the hassle

By far the best and most thorough exam I've ever gotten from an optometrist! Dr. Bertrand walked through details and options in my prescription to better balance near and distance vision that no one in 20 years of wearing glasses has ever provided or even mentioned as a possibility. I'll go out of my way and off insurance if needed in the future to get an exam from Dr. B.

The Doctor during my exam was very easy to talk to, kind, and listened to my concerns even though it was an annual appt. I did not feel rushed when speaking with the Dr. The tech/nurse who performed the three eye scans was great at explaining the process and made me feel at ease. The check in process was also easy and the desk staff were friendly, responsive and informative.
My only complaint is the wait time felt too long and the waiting room windows had too much direct sunlight.

I called and asked how much it would be to remove an ingrown eyelash on the outside of my eyelid, not under the eye or anything extensive. I was told it would be $95 for the office visit and $25 for each eyelash. One was removed with tweezers, and the doctor wrote a prescription for a combination antibiotic steroid cream. She also suggested another product which I declined.
After plucking my eyelash, because that is literally all it was, they told me it would be $235. Even though my chart says it wouldn't be more than $155 if two eyelashes needed to be removed, and nothing additional was done, they still insisted on charging me $105 more than it should've been.
I was laid off in November and the recent winter storm delayed the start of my new job, so I literally do not have the extra money. I offered to at least pay what I was quoted, and pay the rest as soon as possible, but instead they gave me an itemized list of why I owe them more.
Then the woman at the counter said, "We'll keep this until you can pay." and PULLED THE WRITTEN PRESCRIPTION BACK.
You can choose to go or not, but I think it is pretty awful when a healthcare office withholds a prescription because I won't allow them to strong arm me into double the amount.
