They treated me Wonderful. I was very impressed with the technology that they used. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. The doctor was very knowledgeable and treated my situation carefully and honestly, the price of the glasses were within range so that I could afford definitely would recommend.

I've been going to Elgin Vision for years and they consistently provide the best experience. The exam is thorough, and the entire team is friendly, makes the whole process easy. It's nice to be able to stay local for all of your vision needs. Highly recommend this local gem!

I rarely leave reviews, but I felt this experience was worth sharing. I travel often for work and have, on multiple occasions, found optometrists in other cities who are more than willing to help me when I've run out of contacts during trips. Some have even given me trial lenses free of charge, and when not, I've gladly paid just to hold me over. That kind of customer-first mindset goes a long way. This time around, I expected even better treatment from an optometrist in my own hometown--the very office where I did my eye exam. Unfortunately, I was wrong. I had just moved into town, my order was mistakenly shipped to the wrong address, and I simply needed a short-term solution to get by until my lenses arrived. Instead of being met with understanding, I was met with a careless attitude and a flat refusal. They wouldn't help me at all, not even if I was willing to pay. This confirmed for me that this office is more focused on being transactional than building relationships or showing genuine care for their patients. If you're looking for world-class service that makes you feel valued, I strongly recommend going elsewhere--Rim Optical, for example, truly understands how to treat their patients. Unfortunately, Elgin Vision felt more like another franchised, for-profit business than a place that puts people first.

Staff was friendly. Everyone from doctor to staff answered my questions and were very patient. I felt pricing was fair compared with others. I also felt I received personal service and wasn't just pushed through like cattle like at some other places.

My wife and I have both used Elgin Vision Source and both had great experiences! Dr. Rutkowski is great and his team was very helpful with me in getting some new glasses. I haven't had a good pair of glasses in years and the lady who helped me was very patient as I kept trying on pairs, second-guessing myself, and eventually landing on a nice pair. Of course, I managed to break them just a little while later, but his in-house repair dude was very friendly and helpful and fixed them up free of charge in about 3 minutes. Thanks y'all!

I had been going to Mann Eye Institute located on Braker Ln, I am a Diabetic and wanted the best care I could get for my eyes and thought this was a good place to go. Everything went well at first the Doctor was Great the Doctor's Assistant was great. Then I went to get my eye glasses, paid $300 the glasses was awful couldn't see a dam thing took them back and got back the same awful glasses so I went a year without wearing them $300 glasses until another assistant said wait hold up I see the problem and she fixed them and said there you go so I went and started wearing them took a minute to adjust. after 2 years they broke went and got another pair name brand $280 they broke 6 months after. let me say at know point did they make me Feel Cared for, Value, and Respected when it came to Correcting things for me, the Assistant were kind to me but was of no help and the Doctor was good. I went to ELGIN VISION and was left feeling AWE The Assistants were Amazing, Kind Respectful, and made me Truly Feel Valued, Respected and Cared for!!! the Doctor was Excellent on all Points and the Eye Glasses well let me tell yall PERFECT on the FIRST try not bring back to get fixed although that happens sometimes but NOT THIS TIME! I was so worried because Elgin is my new hometown and I want to be able to spend my Hard Earned Working Money where I live and Elgin has shown itself to be the perfect place to live. my new EYE PLACE IS...ELGIN VISION IDEAL EYE TEAM!!!!! PRAISE GOD!!!

Everyone at Elgin Vision is amazing and so pleasant. Dr Rotowski is awesome absolutely love him. Best place ever to go for eye exams and glasses. My favorite people.
