Dr. John Bowen

Dr. Bowen is great. My Eye Dr. is horrible! I will never do business with them again. They WAY overcharged for eye glass lenses that were totally unwearable because they were ground incorrectly. I couldn't wear the lenses for more than 5 minutes without getting an extreme headache. I was told to wear them for 2 weeks and "just get used to it". It was like wearing reading glasses to walk. IF I wanted the better lenses, it would be another $350 (over $800 for lenses only). I refused. They did re-grind the lenses, but made single vision lenses. I was initially told I had a store credit due to the difference in cost, but later was told he didn't understand company policy and they WOULD NOT give a store credit and that the cost of the single vision were the same as the price of the progressive lenses. They refuse to make the lenses work for me and they refuse to return my money. I will NEVER do business with them again. Unfortunately, I will be looking for a new eye doctor. I cannot deal with this type of business associated with Dr. Bowen.
