Dr. Dhaliwal is a very knowledgeable and thorough physician. Her staff moved me through my appointment quickly and efficiently and provided insight into each of the tests they were performing. Dr. Dhaliwal's consultation was clear and informative and left me feeling reassured.

I had cataract surgery. During the whole process the staff and Dr Dhaliwal were very kind and helpful. I followed the doctor's advise and upgraded my lenses. I am very happy with the outcome and see much better.

I saw Dr. Dhaliwal for my corneal ulcer and couldn't be happier with her. Her office is equipped with extremely friendly and professional staff and impressive medical devices. Her bedside manner is top notch, and she fixed my eye up with a great treatment plan. Two enthusiastic thumbs up!!

I have been seeing Dr. Dhaliwai for a couple of years and have been very well taken care of. The staff is excellent and Lisa, the office manager, is exceptional! She is helpful and pleasant. I have had cataract surgery and was very pleased with the entire process. Dr. Dhaliwai is extremely professional and knowledgeable, as well as patient and understanding of all my questions. I highly recommend this practice for all your eye care needs.

Where to begin with what my experience with this office has been over the course of the last 6 weeks? I see Dr. Dhaliwal annually for an eye health exam, but she does not do vision exams, so when the time came for one, I had to make an appointment with a staff member. The vision exams are conducted by office staff, not the doctor. (I have no idea what schooling is required or if they are certified to do them). Making a very long story short, I had to go back three times to the office to have the prescription checked, as the one that was filled was incorrect and the glasses were useless. Each time I returned, they insisted that their measurements were correct (even though on one of these visits they changed the prescription). They blamed the optician that filled the prescription for the problem, insisting that he had used inferior materials. Never once did the doctor recheck their work. On my third visit back to the office (this has all consumed hours of my time), Lisa (a staff member) insisted she would make it right. She asked that I go back to the optician and have him call her. I did this the following day, with the optician calling the office and asking to speak with Lisa. He was told she had just "stepped out", and the staff member who did the first vision test got on the phone and lied and said that the doctor had verified the prescription (I never saw her once relative to the eye exams). I subsequently went to an Optometrist, who performed a vision test, at my additional expense. She wrote a totally different prescription which was filled (again at my expense) and correct as I can now use my glasses. After I received my glasses, I called back the office to discuss the resolution with Lisa. To date she has not returned my phone call. The lack of professionalism and customer service in this office is frightening and frustrating. I have had to incur additional expenses of over $300 and hours of lost time, because of their incompetence. I share my experience so that no one else has to spend the time and money I have because of their ineptitude.

It is always a good experience visiting Eye Associates of Texas. The staff is very friendly and Dr. Shagun Dhaliwal always explains everything in detail and makes sure you are comfortable with whatever decision you choose. She takes the approach she is there to educate and coach you, but supports you once you decide what is the best course of action for you
