We always enjoy coming for our eye exams. Everyone is always friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. My husband and I receive great eye care at Vision Source Planet Eyewear. Dr. Bartlett answers any question we have and performs a very comprehensive eye exam. We wouldn't go any where else. Also, they have the best selection of frames around. If you're looking for great eye care and something different and classy in frames this is the place to be.

I have been going to Dr. Bartlett for years. I liked the Highland Village office better but happy followed Dr. Bartlett to his new location. It's easy to get an appointment as the office personnel are very efficient. The technicians are pleasant and have always taken time to help me pick out just the right pair of glasses. Dr. Bartlett is easy to talk to and I always feel at ease. He has always answered my questions and explains everything he is doing. I would not hesitate to recommend Planet Eyewear - Vision Source.

The most knowledgeable eye doctor I have been to in 35 years. Been coming here for eight. Perfect prescriptions - no nausea like the chain eye-cares. No 2-3 weeks to "..get used to it." Dr. Bartlett checks and updates on the health and progression of your eyes. He talks to you what to do to minimise dangerous eye conditions - his long experience is the best thing you can do for your eyes. Vision Source Planet Eyewear and Dr Richard Bartlett and his staff are awesome! He is kind and caring, his staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. He has the best equipment and a vast array of frames to choose from. He also has quite a knack for helping you pick just the right frame for your features. I live in Kansas City and make the trip to Flower Mound yearly for my check-up. You will not regret trusting them with your vision needs!

Fairly new patient. Second routine appointment. Friendly, personable, professional, laughter, and I know I'm in capable care the entire time. One of the staff recommended a different contact lens color, which I tried and loved how it looked. I tried something different because she wasn't afraid to recommend. Other customers are friendly and sociable too. They seemed just as pleased and satisfied as me. During each visit when I asked what another customer thought, they were so willing to give their opinion, which I appreciate. Last year (2017) a staff recommended a particular frame and I wasn't sure so I asked a customer. Yep, I got them and still get compliments.

They refused to honor a warranty on my $500 Gucci frames. Proceeded to tell me incorrect information about how old my frames were. Followed by how its impossible for them to make a mistake. Followed by condescending attitude towards a long time customer. I was only a long time customer out of convenience to my location. The front desk employee is the doctors wife so don't expect any accountability if/when she does make mistakes. The doctor himself has been rude at times in front of me by talking about the other customers behind their back after they've left the premises. But mostly its his staff that is rude and patronizing. Additionally, this is an optometrist, not a Doctor of general medicine yet they insist on taking your temperature with other draconian measures like forcing you to wear a two layer mask and putting sanitizer on your hands. Don't go here unless you want to be treated like an animal whom they only allow in to take your money while giving you false promises like a "warranty" on your glasses that apparently they can deem invalid anytime they want and if you rebuttal expect a "let me finish my sentence, its impossible for us to make mistakes." Take your business where it will be appreciated.

The staff are extremely nice and knowledgeable. They explain everything in your bill, what the insurance pay versus your co-payment. My previous eye doctor staff did not and if I asked, they seemed bothered. The doctor was also very professional and nice. will definitely be back.
