Fort Bliss Optometry Care

I have bought three pairs of glasses there and all of the screws loosened within a couple of weeks, I'm lucky that my lenses where not lost. So NO, I don't recommend this optical place of business, and this is recent as of last year! I spent a lot of money on the frames and the quality is very poor!

I was able to get an appointment within a week of calling for an eye exam. I got there and staff was friendly and they honored my appointment and I got to see the Dr before a family of 5 that walked in before me. The exam was thorough and fast and they were able to get my correct prescription since the Dr I previously went with off post had my prescription way too high where I couldn't even use my glasses.

It took me about 6 months to work up the nerve to give this place a chance based on their bad reviews. After my experience with them last night, I honestly don't know why the reviews are so bad! All the staff was super friendly and the doctor made sure to make me feel like I was an extremely valued customer. He explained every thing he did, and was the most hands on doctor I've ever had. From start to finish, I was in and out within 75 mins. Including waiting time. I'd definitely come back!

If I could give ZERO stars I would but the staff was nice! This doctor has no bedside manners, he was rude to my son (called him stupid), appointment was rushed (only after he overheard me complain about the wait time) and I am not filling my child's prescription because I do not believe it is correct! I Do NOT recommend this doctor. I called to complain about he doctor; spoke with office manager who said she would call back in an hour. Almost 5 hrs after, the doctor called me apologizing and basically calling my child a liar because he denied saying the things he said (so why apologize)? Not sure why she would have him call me if she its her job to assess patient issues. I wish they would STOP apologizing and do something about him and the service patients are receiving at their office!! Shameful!

I just finished a glasses and contact exam. Linda and the ladies at the front were kind. The Dr. was very polite, albeit quick with his exam, but thorough nonetheless. The icing on the cake was how Andrew was so patient and explained things thoroughly to me while I tried a few different pair of contacts on. All in all, a great experience.

Me and my kids have been coming to this office for awhile, the doctor is good . But that new staff has made his office like TRASH with thier very disrespectful ways, and I told them to cancel ALL our appointment(s). So now I have to find another Eye Facility to take care of us properly with respect. I'm not dealing with it and I drive us from the UPPER VALLEY far westside!

Don't know why the reviews are so bad, I almost canceled because of the the negative reviews however my daughter and I went for her appointment and it was awesome, I'm so glad we did. Dr. C is super friendly and great with the kids. He takes the time to explain what he is doing and let's the kid touch the equipment to see it won't hurt them. The staff is super friendly I highly recommend going here.

First of all my copay per my insurance is $40 and they told me because of astigmatism its $150. Just went somewhere else and they charged me $40 even with my astigmatism. Second of all I had to go somewhere else because my appointment with them was before Halloween and we are now into the new year and they still don't have my trial lenses to get me my prescription. The place I went instead had them the same day. Third- they were an hour late to my appointment and a year before that they were an hour late to my son's. There are so many eye places in El Paso- go anywhere else. Also to add on to it my son's appointment we also ended up going somewhere else because they gave him a prescription that made his vision worse instead of better which was noticeable during the appointment when he went from being able to read the chart to not seeing the same things he could before with the glasses thing over his eyes.
