Just want to say "Thank You" to Christian who is a very helpful young man who has helped me with my glasses. He is very courteous and helpful when I come in to ask to adjust my glasses. I have purchased 3 pairs of glasses from Vista Fort Sam but this last pair, the frame has given me some trouble. Again, thank you Christian for your help!

Wish I could rate this place a 5 but walking out empty handed is not what I had in mind. Warning, long rant. Went in early June to choose my safety glasses required by work. Staff took my measurements and sent them in. No word from optical place until mid August, claims they called me several times and left zero messages, phone history will concur that. August 12 I gladly show up to pick up my prescription but quickly discovered that the new glasses made me nauseas otw to my car, so I went back in and requested for a second look. Turns out my prescription was way off and they would have to send my glasses back for adjustment to my prescription. 3rd time back in today in hopes for a final time but this time I'm helped by the manager. I tried on the glasses and to my surprise they still were off, as I explained myself. Not a right fit adjustment on distance or reading a brochure on the counter. The manager says that she could not adjust my prescription and maybe I have an outdated prescription but I quickly showed her my exam was 3 months ago. Her solution was to refund the entire purchase. Not what I expected from a professional customer service manager but a well deserved 1 star is all they get from me. Now I can't get another pair of glasses till next year after I asked her not to refund back to my company card until I discussed it with management, she hits "refund" on her computer. This place not only lost out on a $300 purchase but also a new potential longterm customer.

Christian was very knowledgeable and courteous!!! I had Googled Progressive No Line Bifocal Transition Polarized Lenses and Google said for the top of the line glasses with all the options would cost me between $600 to $900, but I walked out of their with all the options for $459.00. OUTSTANDING!!! Plus they're going to ship them directly to my residence!!! I couldn't be more pleased!!!

The staff in here is super helpful and kind. They had an awesome BOGO deal when we went. We did end up returning one pair due to the uncomfortableness of the frame. And their options are very minimal. But the ones we did end up keeping are amazing.

We visit the store Saturday, July 13 and the lady that assisted us in fixing my glasses. Also help my wife in picking her glasses. She was very well knowledgeable and very respectful and our concerns. Outstanding !!!employee.

I would not ever recommend this location to anyone! I am a retired vet and tried to get my 1st pair of glasses using my insurance. The assumption was made that I did not have insurance because I was never asked! I ended paying over $200 for what I would have gotten for free. I was then told I should receive a refund and to cover up their own mistakes, versus simply apologizing, My insurance was ran, in a new calendar year, I was told in order to get my refund, I HAD to pay and my insurance was ran, not being able to be back dated. The manager told the insurance providers I forgot my insurance card, when I was never asked. Service has been a nightmare!!

Negative 5 stars if possible. I never post any reviews but this place is horrible. Messed up my order from start to finish. My card was ran and the order was wrong so has to be ran again. Same with my daughters glasses. Then when I went to pick up, they couldn't find my glasses. Sunglasses came out too light so didn't even serve their purpose. I returned them and lady took hours to do it because she doesn't know the "system." I was told I would get a refund check in the mail because they messed up my return. I am still waiting on that check a month later. I over heard others going to pick up contacts and their order was also wrong. I wanted to tell them to run away. They were also overcharged. This place is ridiculous to say the least. Wasted hours of my life.
