Budget Optical

I came here a couple of weeks ago as a new patient. Before I could even tell the doctor what I was experiencing, he started telling me himself, yet he was all wrong. The test they give you is weird.. I've had them before but there's always been an actual distance when reading the letters and so on. He "prescribed" me glasses that don't do anything to help. I'll have to go to a different doctor for a proper diagnosis. My eyesight is still blurry and at times I can barely see to the point I have to squint. I'm not sure what went wrong here but again, I'll be going to a different doctor. It's almost as if they gave me a placebo. As far as patient/customer service: The lady who called me back was extremely kind. The doctor was kind. The 2 guys handling prescriptions were also OK. The front desk was very dry and dismissive, but honestly that didn't bother me. They could definitely try having a better attitude, they seem and look miserable.. but I didn't come to speak to them. So to each their own. Oh and I'm so happy there's great websites for beautiful frames. I found a couple that carried off brand and designer frames that were gorgeous. & they don't cost much either. So definitely search online for frames. I say that because the ones here are hideous and with Medicaid they were even worse. So get your prescription and then check online for the frames. You can have them tailored for your prescription as well. -Ikea.

The doctor was great the last time I had an appointment and I had a positive experience with the exam itself. However, when I called recently to schedule, the staff member who answered the phone came across as short and somewhat dismissive. Eye exams are something patients need to keep up with regularly, so it was frustrating to feel like I was inconveniencing someone just for trying to make an appointment. I still plan to come in because I've had a good experience with the doctor, but I hope future interactions with the front desk feel a bit more welcoming and patient-focused.

Wrong prescription, told that couldn't see close due to my age even though I could without prescription. Had recent issues with light sensitivity and wanted to be referred to a specialist and was told to just wear shades from now on, ridiculously lazy. Me and my kiddo never going back

I called and explained how I was away from home but was having trouble with my contact possibly being torn. Ms. Jenna got me taken care of so quickly my eye went from being in a bunch of pain to feeling great within seconds of them helping me out with my prescription contact.

I've been going here for years. My glasses are always designer. My son uses his warranty replacement every year and I never have an issue. They take care of my whole family.

I've had an extremely frustrating experience with these glasses. Right out of the box, the frames were super stretched and kept falling down constantly. I went back three times to get them adjusted right after receiving them, and instead of acknowledging the issue, they tried to blame me for the problem! Even worse, I can't see properly with these glasses. I gave them a fair try, hoping I'd get used to them, but no luck. Less than a year later, I had to go to another optical store to figure out why these glasses didn't meet my vision needs. Customer service was also disappointing--completely unhelpful and dismissive. If you're looking for quality eyewear and reliable service, I suggest going elsewhere. And by the way, I'll be here waiting for your response--because from what I've read in other reviews, your replies are often aggressive and you never take responsibility for your mistakes. Let's see if this time is any different.
