Quality Eye Care of Killeen

I had an amazing experience at Quality Eye Care in Killeen, TX, thanks to Katelyn. She truly went above and beyond to help my son obtain his contact lenses at the very last minute before our travel. What could have been a stressful situation turned into a smooth and reassuring experience because of her dedication and sense of urgency. Katelyn was extremely professional, attentive, and genuinely caring throughout the entire process. She didn't just do her job -- she made sure we were taken care of. Her customer service was outstanding, and her positive attitude made all the difference. Not only is she beautiful on the outside, but her kindness and character shine even brighter from within. Quality Eye Care is fortunate to have someone like her on their team. I highly recommend this office, especially if you have the pleasure of working with Katelyn.

This place is amazing. If you want quality personal care this is where you should go. Monica went above and beyond by fitting me in last minute today. She was professional, kind and caring. Doctor Moses is also second to none. His expertise and bedside manner is a rare find these days. I used to go see him back in the early 90s and he actually remembered me by name. This place will treat you like family.

Dr. Moses and his tech were amazing!!! I was really pleased with how thorough they both were during my exam. Unfortunately, I won't be back due to the lack of insurance/billing knowledge. At my own fault I didn't hesitate to put my card in when I was informed I had a copay. We were talking about other things at the counter so I got side tracked and didn't realize I was charged $81 until after I left. I immediately called to question it and was repeatedly told that was my copay even though I've never paid for a routine eye exam. He tried to say that the copay of $81 was a percentage of billed amount which I argued bc a copay is a set amount, not a percentage (that's a coinsurance/cost share). After going back and forth and being chuckled at as if I had no clue what I was talking about, I went home and immediately pulled up my insurance. They had already processed the billing and of course, as I already knew, I had no patient responsibility. This clinic charges $175 for the eye exam and my insurance allowed $94... they literally charged me the difference of $81. There is a contractual agreement with every insurance... that doesn't mean you take advantage of patients to make up the cost difference from the insurance contractual agreement. I understand mistakes happen but this was different. Once again I really liked Dr Moses and his Tech... if you go here I recommend you educate yourself on your insurance plan and pay close attention to every detail when it comes to billing.

If you've read my reviews you'll see I hardly give 5 stars. My first appointment with them this morning was pleasant. Everyone was friendly, talkative and even laughed and participated in a few of my jokes. They were very thorough and performed unique tests that I've never had before in the almost 30 years I've been wearing corrective lens. Over the past 13 years I've tried maybe 5 local optometrist/eye centers. So far this one is my new favorite. They answered all my questions and taught me a few things about my eyes and wasn't rushing me treating me like I'm just a number. I really appreciated that. The doctor and his staff are a nice team. They have a nice little assortment of frames to choose from. The only negatives was I was charged for choosing glasses with bigger lens and was told I have to pay out of pocket for that and something else. The other places never charged me out of pocket and I've gotten bigger lens and bigger frames from other eye centers. Every office is different; I guess; and then there's inflation on everything so I can't get upset. The nice lady did give me a discount on the extra charges and offered to split the payments. The location is in a highly congested area and the furniture is stained and dated. That's just cosmetics I guess. The services and staff are top notch. Front desk said my glasses should be here in 2 weeks. I'll keep you posted.

I absolutely love Quality Eye Care! I have gotten my eye exam here, and have bought glasses & contacts from them. Dr.Moses and his staff are awesome and answer any questions I have. The front desk staff are always welcoming, And helpful on finding the right glasses and contacts for me. The customer service provided here is like no other and I highly recommend this place to anyone in the Killeen area, you won't regret it!

I absolutely love Quality Eye Care! Dr. Moses is awesome! The front desk girls; Brittany, Jenn, and Deyton are always so helpful! They are very patient with my two daughters age 9 and 3. I've been coming here for years! My recent visit I flew in to visit family in the area and lost my glasses at the Seattle airport. When I called quality eye care to see if I could purchase new glasses they were able to see me and help me pick out new frames a lot sooner than I expected. When we came in my two daughters were hyper but they were very patient and Joe the only man at the front desk played with my toddler while I tried on glasses. The glasses were ready in a week, which was great! I've seen previous reviews on the front desk girls and have never had any of those issues, they've always been super helpful, attentive and respectful.

I thought I had pink eye so I went to my family doctor, they recommended I see an eye doctor. I called Dr Moses' office and they got me in SAME day! Literally within an hour of calling, I showed up for my appointment, and less than 30 minutes later; Dr Moses figured out what was wrong with my eye and I was on my way. They have the most friendliest ladies up front and the most personable eye doctor I've ever met!

I have worked in the optometry business for over 10 years and when I'm asked where I get my exams for my kids and I in Killeen, I tell them Quality Eyecare w Dr Moses. He is patient and thorough and genuinely cares about his patients and their eye health. I recommend him to anyone needing annual exams, glasses or contacts. He has a range of designer frames and great prices. He takes most insurances and is open on Saturdays. Promise you won't be disappointed!
