Westlake Eye Specialists - Killeen Office

I needed to reschedule my appointment, I was able to get an appointment the following week. I asked lots of questions and all of my questions got respectful, clear and concise answers. The eye exam equipment was used by a technician who knew just how to properly use it, and ensured that I could trust my optical prescription was correct. When I saw the opthalmologist after, she also made sure that my eyes were healthy, my optical prescription was correct and that sooner or later I would need cataract surgery, but for now, I could rely on new glasses. She explained the procedure for cataract surgery, the difference in new lenses and the pricing options for each. I came away very well educated about my whole opthamolgical expected outcomes. The entire office, from intake, waiting room and examination was excellent! Everyone was exceptionally professional and I have now recommended Westlake Eyes to others already.

It have been the best care that I received on any eye clinic before. From the front desk, the super eye technitian (Marco Antonio), the MD, the data office and the amazing front desk. Thanks.

The staff in the back was very friendly and warm and the clinic is very nice and clean. My first interaction with the office was with the front desk representative, Gigi. She was fine at first, but then gave me very inaccurate information about my insurance, even though it is active and I had provided all the details for verification. She told me that without my physical insurance card, I would be billed as a self-pay patient. After I clarified the situation, her attitude noticeably changed and became condescending and rude.

Receptionist was polite and helpful. She helped me understand the paperwork that I had to fill out. The staff and doctor was friendly.

Very friendly, knowledgeable and professional staff and doctor. Based on my experience, I would recommend them to any of my veteran brothers and sisters. Those at Westlake do care and treat you like they do, you can trust them.

I was very impressed with Dr. Barker. He listened to my concerns and heard me.Moreover, from the time I made contact, the entire staff was courteous and demonstrated a genuine caring attitude. The team seemed highly professional and very knowledgeable. I'm a newcomer to the community and appreciate being cared for in this type of medical environment. The way I felt treated I observed team members treating other patients similarly. The atmosphere at Westlake was across the board and should go a long way in positively growing their Killeen business. There's great team synergy going on there from the time you enter the office. I'm retired and recovering from a recent stroke, As such, I was apprehensive about who I wanted to perform my cataract surgery. My experience at Westlake has mitigated that situation. I'm now confident that I have made the right decision/choice for me. Whoever is responsible for creating this respectful work environment deserves much recognition and appreciation because they're running a business to be successful. Everyone demonstrated commitment to their individual team responsibility and reference other's contributions with respect. The Westlake work environment deserves such a high review as I have composed and herein submit. As initially stated. I remain impressed!

Starting with the appointment staff, the ladies at the front desk and the technicians are courteous, patient, knowledgeable and insightful. The office is clean, there is enough seating, and the area is well lit. Dr. Daskas is a professional, she is knowledgeable, patient and understanding. Yes, I would recommend WestLake Eye Specialists to my friends and family.

I'm very scared about my eye situation. First time the technician told me her name made me feel at ease. Then the doctor made me feel very comfortable and explained my situation was very easy to understand. Great place was referred by my optometrist. Thank you Emily Martin
