I ended up walking out. The waiting area was dim and unclean, but what really pushed me to leave was the receptionist's attitude--she was incredibly rude. At first, I wondered if I was just being overly sensitive, but it wasn't just me--she responded with attitude to everyone who approached her with a question. I 100% recommend you go to a different location.

This place sucks!!!! Dont get the insurance on your glasses you wont see them for over a MONTH!!! Going on 2 months & still no glasses or update. Office staff is alright. Eye Dr is nice. But if you can go elsewhere, go!!!! Dont waste your time. Also the glasses are overpriced & suck. Within 6M they were breaking/getting scratches. No other place or pair of glasses has done this to me. Even online is better & faster.

My father was referred to the ophthalmologist at Coastal Bend Eye Center by his medical doctor. I had to work and was unable to take him but my 18 year old son took him for me, I filled out all of his paperwork and emailed it. When it came down to talking to the ophthalmologist over the phone, he seemed like it was too much work to discuss my fathers care with me. I had questions, but I feel like he didn't want to discuss my dad's care with me. He just wanted to hand us off to another doctor. I'm an emergency contact. What is the problem? I had questions and still feel like they weren't answered, just referring him out due to eye lids, I'm a nurse and I understand medical terminology. I was willing to talk to him if he would just talk on the phone like a regular person. Instead he was like I feel like I'm yelling, like what? I mean I don't see how hard it is to talk to someone over the phone, when we do this daily to communicate with one another. Take me off of speaker put the phone to your ear and talk to me like a human being I wasn't going to say anything until my son said he was rude towards him. This is a business, we are paying customers, we deserve to be treated with respect and kindness.

Positive the Doctor was nice. Negative 1. I got my glasses from them and when I did, my right eye was way off. Had to go back in and told the Dr I could not see with my glasses. He checked them and gave me a new prescription everything had changed. 2. They remade the lens and I could see far great but I could not see my computer or read clearly with them. Was getting headaches so I called back they got me in. This time I took my laptop and Dr. checked and changed my prescription again. 3. Now they are saying I have to pay full price to get them fixed. I appreciate the Dr. finally getting my prescription correct but not happy now I have to pay for a full set to get them in the correct prescription. This is crazy! And to top it off... when I went in this last time, there was a gentleman that came in and said that there was something wrong with his glasses and it was the right eye. WOW!

Super friendly office staff. Super friendly eye doctor's. I drive an hour away and they always take that into consideration when scheduling appointments. I love this office. I have glaucoma and retina detachment. They tell me straight up what to do without judgement

Had an eye exam for a new pair of glasses in mid-Jan, took like 2 months to get the bill but no calls about the glasses! Called about it in February, a very rude female receptionist said she'd have the maker call me back but no one called after all. The eye doctor was nice, but the staff is unprofessional.

Garbage. Don't go there. I walked out after spending 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment. They overbook, and their patients have to deal with it. They don't care about eyes. They care about money. Will not be back.

Very courteous front desk staff and techs, and the doctors are always kind and helpful. They're good with kids too! The ONLY issue I have is that it is such a small office so they have a tiny eyeglass selection.
