I had an appointment at this location today at 4;05 pm unfortunately because of work and going across town because the procedure I needed could only be done there I was approximately 10-15 minutes late. On top of that I was considerate enough to call at 330pm to let them know that. She mentioned she would pass the note along. They decided to not see me and did not have the decency to call me or text me to let me know I was wasting my time in going. Let me also mention also what made me a little late was the fact I had to Uber there because I was being cautious due to the fact that I didn't know what the condition of my eyes would be after the procedure. So I spent a total of $50 for my Uber rides. Very unfortunate on their part. Should've had the decency to contact me.

Dr. JATLA ROCKS! I have been seeing Dr. Jatla for several years now and she has taken wonderful care of my eyes and me. She has got my eyes going the right way from the beginning. I am certain that staff and patients really do enjoy working with her. She is always moving forward in her field and ahead of the others with her care. James

I had a very disappointing experience here. I waited a long time past my appointment time while staff repeatedly left the room to retrieve equipment and supplies needed for my pre-procedure exam. During my visit, they discussed another patient's eye pressure and condition in front of me, which felt like a privacy concern. When it was time for my laser iridotomy, the doctor appeared unfamiliar with the laser device and had to stop and figure out how to use it. This made me feel unsafe, so I chose not to proceed and left. The doctor did try to maintain my confidence by saying he had done the procedure many times, just not with that particular device. Considering it was a laser going into my eye, I was not at all convinced. Patients deserve timely, prepared care and respect for privacy. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. While I don't think this was the fault of the doctor, I feel there are many gaps in the practice itself and would advise that you not risk it.

The entire service is unfortunately a reflection of Dr. Jatla. I am a very patient person, but respect is needed when it comes to people's time. If I were late, I wouldn't be seen and would be charged a fee, yet here I am, waiting endlessly despite scheduling an appointment. The service is horrible. I was trying to take tests and couldn't even focus, which I needed to, because another staff member kept coming in and interrupting. Then when I was finally in the doctor's room having my eye pressure measured, another staff member came in asking if she could use the same equipment that was actively being used on me. Be for real -- that is completely unprofessional. On top of that, I still had to wait 30+ minutes past my scheduled time, then another 10+ minutes in the inside waiting room, and another 20+ minutes in the doctor's room. When I finally asked when I would be seen, I was told the internet was down. That explanation doesn't excuse wasting my time. This wasn't the first time either. At the Round Rock location, my first visit took over two hours, but I gave them another chance thinking it was just a bad day. That was my mistake. The experience is consistently unprofessional. This office does not value patients' time, and I won't be returning. 0 stars

Went here on Thursday afternoon for the first time. I have swelling under my right eye, not knowing much about eyes I was here to check things out.waiting one hour and fifty five minutes I finally saw a doctor five minutes and I was done. She said she was sending a prescription to my pharmacy, three days later still not called in. But you can be sure they got their co pay before I left I won't be back

The worst experience, and that's saying something--I've been seeing eye specialists for over 40 years because I wear contact lenses and glasses. I went in for a routine check-up covered by my insurance, with no additional cost. I made that very clear when I booked the appointment. It turns out they decided I needed a comprehensive exam and charged me as if it wasn't a routine visit. Without informing me that I would be charged, I reminded them that I needed an updated prescription for my contact lenses. They then tried to get me to sign a document stating I agreed to pay $150 just for the prescription (not including the contact lenses). When I said no, they told me they couldn't give it to me. So I figured I'd at least get the prescription for my glasses that day. When everything was over, I asked the front desk person (poor thing clearly hates her job--never smiled once) for my glasses prescription, and she said they wouldn't give it to me unless I paid $45. In summary: I left without a prescription for either my contact lenses or my glasses.

Awesome place with wonderful staff and Dr Jatla is great. She answers all questions and has great service .
