Great experience for my wife and I. Receptionist are friendly and professional. Doc was quite thorough and didn't try to push needless expensive procedures. Got my new glasses today and they are spot on! Unlike tge two previous years from WalMart that never were correct.

Front receptionists blow it for this place. Uncaring and unhelpful. They refused to look up my insurance because it would take too much time. When I looked it up for them, they said my appointment was cancelled and I would have to reschedule. It took me 15 minutes too long. I said forget it and took my business elsewhere.

I suggested to my wife she goes to Texas State Optical here in Liberty, TX, and I am SO REGRETFUL I did!
The front office staff is a joke!!
Incompetent and unprofessional is putting it mildly.
Over $600 later, multiple trips back to get the issues fixed, and my wife is still having problems with her glasses.
They have a 2.6 review rating and most all the comments are about the front office staff.
This is the perfect example of reading reviews before you depend on what is in a name!
In my opinion, the best thing they could do is change the name from Texas State Optical to: 'UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT'.
