My visit was disappointing for many reasons, and your response to my post seemed rude by saying Oh No, reflecting poorly on your administration. I understand you answered my concerns, but I am sure that the examiner didn't explain the exam before to charge me extra, the front desk was talking behind my back when I asked simple question and she put me on her schedule without asking me first. Very rude. The problem in this clinic is the staff and the front desk, while the Dr. is ok. I was charged for unnecessary exams, which weren't explained to me beforehand. The assistant described the exam as basic, but it turned out to be more extensive and costly than expected. I was asked to pay extra for additional tests after the exam was completed. * The front desk staff seemed rude, talking among themselves while patients asked questions. * The treatment plan was too expensive, and some services weren't covered. * We had scheduled an appointment with Dr. Ritchy, but another doctor treated us instead. * Some exam machines appeared dirty and weren't properly sanitized. * Before the appointment, we received excessive reminder calls and texts. * The office scheduled future appointments without consulting us.

My daughter had an annual eye checkup here, and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. At the beginning, the nurse asked for a $50 copay, even though my insurance covers 100% of wellness checkups. When I questioned it, she said she could waive $30 for one type of machine test. That left me feeling like the billing was not transparent. During the appointment, I asked the doctor how often my daughter should wear her glasses. He literally raised his voice and said, "all the time," as if my question was silly. That felt disrespectful when I was only trying to understand my child's care. Later, I asked why my daughter's vision seemed to be deteriorating, and the only response I received was, "I don't know," followed by silence. It felt dismissive and unhelpful. The front desk experience was also frustrating. After printing the prescription, the staff member just asked, "What else do you need?" without explaining that the visit was finished. I felt rushed out instead of receiving a clear wrap-up. Overall, I expected professionalism and guidance, but instead I left feeling unheard, disrespected, and disappointed in both the care and communication.

I have been a patient of Dr. Richey's for 20 years now. He and his staff were the first to teach me to use contact lenses as a child and now they take care of my own son! You won't find a better office and doctor to take care of your needs! If you're looking for an office family that you can go to for years, Advanced Family Eye Care is where you want to go!

I absolutely love the staff here. They are always welcoming and extremely patient. I recommend Dr. Richie to anyone young or old. My son is autistic and Dr. Richie's office has always serviced him with warm welcomes and smiles. This speaks volumes about the type of service they provide... and Mrs Sheila is the best. Her level of patience and knowledge of customers is stellar and should be recognized.

My family and I have been patients since 2016. Every year when I return, I am always impressed with how the machines Dr. Richey's uses for checking my eyes are always improving. Dr.Richey takes the time to explain all the test results and is very knowledgeable on all the critical aspects of eye care. And their staff is always friendly and very helpful. Will keep coming back!
