Had a great experience today at Cameron Optical. They had really cool high tech up to date testing and also did a complimentary face scan, which was pretty cool. Employees are informative and competent also a fun atmosphere with what seemed like happy employees. I would recommend if you want top notch eye care. This is not your average outdated dull optical office.

The entire office was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. I popped in with out calling to see if they could fix my glasses which, they fixed them right there in the office and was able to squeeze my son in for an appointment. (Shout out to Mark Soveral he did a wonderful job custom fitting my glasses).
Dr Bonnie Cameron and her crew examined my son for over an hour. They were very thorough and found that my 14 year old son's eyes were not able to focus and that they literally spasmed when he tried. Our two previous doctors did not catch that when he was younger which they should have.
Dr Bonnie Cameron caught it and is able to fix the problem.
I could not be more pleased with the entire team at Cameron optical they are fantastic. Thank you Doctor Cameron helping my son!

The facility also has the latest/up to date technical optical images to help with eye issues you may have. I have been impressed with the staff as well. They are all friendly. PROS: First visit, Dr. Fernandez was phenomenal! Spouse has FTD & Parkinson's & staff showed care & patience during neuro & vision testing him & helping him move about. Very short wait time. I was searching for a neuro-ophthalmologist but only found listings in Houston locations. Dr. Fernandez was able to detect problems with my husband's vision that I was not aware of. Thankful for her expertise in his neurological condition.
CONS: Purchased regular lens w/
magnetic clip on lens for reading & magnetic clip on shades...no frames. Paid $807 with additional charges to come (?!). No explanation for what $807 charge was for?!? No receipt for payment. I have vision insurance but not sure it was used as coverage was being confirmed even though info was submitted days before appt. Seemed unorganized & chaotic!

Very nice team! Everyone makes you feel comfortable. The tech that completed my test before the exam was very sweet. I told her I het anxiety when doing the tests. She was very calm and talked me through all of them. I wished I could remember her name. Dr Cameron was very thorough and answered my questions. She was very informative and offered me several options for contacts. Patty was super sweet in assisting with my choice of glasses. I will definitely be coming back.

Returned for a routine eye care exam and check up. Dr. Cameron was busy with another patient, so I was asked if Dr. Elba Fernandez could handle my exam. No problem I said. Wow, whoopee, fantastic is all I can say. Dr. Fernandez was extremely detailed, involved, and informative about my test results. She is really an outstanding optometrist.
