Walmart Vision & Glasses

I just bought a new pair of glasses at the Walmart on North Tarrant parkway in North Richland hills. I worked with a lady named Gracie in the glasses department who is extremely friendly very knowledgeable and the Best glasses adjuster I have ever had. I will definitely come back here for my next pair of glasses. But if Gracie leaves I won't.

Me and my grandpa go up there every couple of months to get my glasses/contact prescription checked, and everyone there is so nice! I can't remember her name but she is so sweet and loves me and my grandpa! I haven't gone to another vision center since I was in 3rd grade!

I have no words to describe how happy I am that we came in today. My daughter was in tears, and the staff here made her feel warm and welcome and took care of everything without any hesitation eternally grateful Eamonn Gallagher.

Horrible experience, don't know the girls name helping me but she claimed she had only been there two weeks. It showed, she clearly did not know any of the system. Fast forward 1.5 hours she finally figures out how to use my insurance and I pay and leave. She calls me about an hour or so later and claims she miscalculated how much was owed out of pocket, so, I owed another $40 not a big deal but frustrating that in the medical industry it's common place to call people after they pay and say you need to pay more. She asked if I wanted to come back up or pay later when I picked up the glasses. I chose to pay when I pick up. She cancelled the order and did not notify me. Well, apparently in Walmarts system you have to perform a refund before cancelation. Never got a refund. Got the message to get glasses go up there and find out they were canceled. Been sitting here for about 30 mins before anyone apologized, they just sat there and threw lingo of the trade and that the girl who originally helped me charged Medicare, I don't have Medicare for vision insurance. So it got charged back, this is a huge problem. Then the lady that is helping me today says the calculations were wrong and that I owed even more money than the extra $40. All because the original girl helping me was incredibly inept in her duties. Now the extra money is $60 and the system is fighting the lady because of the previous negligence in handling this. If I could give a zero star rating I would. But just goes to show you the big box stores will hire anything with a pulse. Will never come back to Walmart, for anything. I'll go else where and give my money to local owners.

This review is specifically for the vision department, not the Walmart entirely. My client was treated with the upmost disrespect I've ever heard for him simply wanting a specific frame for his new prescription. He had the model number, name of the frames etc. yet the employees stated anything they had was on the floor and that's it. Later he called a different Walmart for them tell him oh no those exact frames are at that store. Walmart manager had to go into the back and find the frames because the employees were too lazy to actually help him. "This is my department I know what we have and don't have" clearly not?? It takes more work to do everything in your power to disregard a customer than it is to just help him. On top of that them getting mad he got ahold of management for his problem so when he called back to order the frames they wanted to upcharge the frames $30 with no explanation.

The staff is so friendly and helpful. The manager especially! She and I both have the same frames. Definitely would recommend them. Great variety and prices are great!

I had a fantastic experience at the Walmart Vision Center, thanks to the excellent service provided by Gracie and Vanessa. Both were incredibly friendly, professional, and made the whole visit smooth from start to finish. They were attentive, efficient, and genuinely seemed to care about providing great customer service. It's not every day you come across a team as helpful and welcoming as they were. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in need of eye care--you'll be in great hands!

Best place to get your glasses from. All associates there, are very good and professional . Luis did a fantastic job helping my son get the best deal with the best price. It was very busy there ,but still, he was very nice and patient. I would recommend him to everyone. He deserves 10 stars ,not just 5 .
