To the office.manager or Dr Soto. Someone was refused even an emergent evaluation when presenting at your office with acute bilateral eye pain with a change in vision and persistent Headached. Insurance information was requested but because the patient only had the old style card they were refused service. I even offered to pay cash. Was told they had the only opthalmologist anywhere in the area. No referral to a nearby urgent care give . Needless to say this is could have easily been a sight losing problem or worse..The office mgr refused to cooperate and to allow access to Dr Soto despite several request. Rockport has no urgent care center so Corpus was the nearest facilit . This Is potentially serious problem that could leave some blin . Dr Soto I felt that you be made aware of what's happening in your clinic. Thank you. A patient since before 200O. Ken.
