CLEAR eye + optical - Stephenville (Moore Eye Center)

I went in not expecting to have to purchase new Eyewear. After a very thorough exam, I indeed needed new glasses. My heart sunk as I was not prepared financially for that. The technician who worked with me on choosing new frames was fabulous.After insurance and benefits were applied, those new eyes cost me very little out of pocket. I almost cried I was so relieved. I have been a patient of Dr Moore and Dr Watt for decades. They and their team are the best!!

Dr Moore did a good job with my eye exam. We tried different contacts that unfortunately did not work out. After making the decision to go with night and day contacts, I ordered them through their office. This is where the problems started. I paid for them and they ordered them. When I got online to look at the order the following week, I found out that there was an issue on the office's part. (They weren't even aware there was an issue until I called). It took 3 days of leaving messages and calling the other location to finally get a call back, after the initial call to let them know that there was a problem with my order. Only to learn they had to order them from another place. I was told they would arrive 11/13. (8 days later) Here we are and once again we have an issue. They are not here. I would highly recommend Dr Moore for the exam, but don't order your contacts through their office. Update 11/21/2025 I have only seen Dr Moore one time. I didn't have a follow-up visit, which is common if there are no issues. Unfortunately, I feel the contact for my right eye is a little strong. I called 11/20/2025 to see if I could see Dr Moore to correct this. I received a call this morning to let me know he won't see me again. They offered to give me my money back for the contacts. It's not about the money. I was just wanting to see if he could adjust the prescription and was honestly shocked to hear he wouldn't see me. I'm only left to assume, when you leave an honest review that is not 5 stars, Dr Moore will no longer see you. Unfortunately, I can't file another eye exam on my insurance either. So much for "We are committed to improving this process and making sure your future visits -- and orders -- are smooth and timely".

Our whole family comes from Brownwood to Moore Center in Stephenville, and for good reason! The staff is friendly, professional, and welcoming. Dr. Kristen Watt is thorough, caring, and makes sure everyone feels comfortable. The office is clean and efficient--we always leave feeling well taken care of. Highly recommend!

Very impressed with all the testing and knowledge shared by the doctor! Also I bought prescription eyeglasses and sunglasses and the associate was so helpful to get me a good price! Very happy and don't even have glasses yet!

I was greeted at the door as soon as I entered the location. Everyone that assisted me including Dr. Watts were very friendly and helpful with the examination and getting my new glasses. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

The staff was awesome!,,they also helped me in finding a nice pair of glasses for me&gave me advice on some that i totally needed,,my eyeglasses also came in very quick,,the eye doctor was wonderful&so very nice!,,Thank You all so much!,,keep up the AWESOME hospitality,,everyone was WONDERFUL!

Was my first time at this office and was greeted by the lovely staff! The care was exceptional and the Dr. truly listened and explained everything thoroughly.
