My kids and eye only go to Americas Best in Willis! Shuanessey is a treasure trove of knowledge and has the best phone etiquette I have ever experienced, she's a keeper for sure! Dr.knell I believe is really informative and thorough. He came up with a solution that works really well for me and was very kind to my daughter and Emily was very sweet and very helpful too! -Your Willis Chilis Bartender!

Absolutely incredible! Same day appointment, no hassles and great people. From the pleasant greeting to the straightforward and kind doctor I was very happy...Emily even made picking out glasses fun (which I usually dread) and I'm excited to pick them up!! Highly recommend

Terrible experience. Immediately there was a problem with insurance, they kept telling me I had medical and I said I also have vision insurance which was supposed to drop the price to 10 dollars. Then they did the exam looking for something in my eye which they never found and had to go somewhere else to look for it. Then came time to check out and what do you know more insurance problems they wanted me to pay 58 dollars for an exam that gave me no resolution and didn't find anything. As polite as I could I said no thank you and walked out.......went to a different place found the object in my eye and now I have no problems.

The experience was terrible the staff had to clue what they was doing and the doctor was sleeping in one of the exam rooms and when I was ready for my eye exam the staff stated "let me go wake up the doctor it might take a minute" the whole experience was terrible and unprofessional would not recommend at all. The staff and doctor is incompetent.

Soon as I was walking to the room the eye Dr complained out load he didn't even get to sit down. He only took a few seconds with only 2 sets of lenses.. acting like he didn't even want to be in there.. didn't even look at my old prescription and said it's just little higher then those pairs. I looked at the new script and my old ones and it's weaker then my old pair. I won't be going back.

Had an issue with rude employees at the location in Huntsville today. I called corporate and made a complaint. The manager of the conroe store called me in less than 5 minutes to apologize. I will be going to conroe in the future.

I don't typically leave negative reviews, but my experience yesterday was disappointing enough that I feel compelled to share--and it's the reason why neither I nor my family will be returning. We had scheduled four appointments--for myself, my husband, and our two daughters. We're a family of six, and glasses have always been part of our lives. This was our second visit to this location, and we came expecting the same level of care as before. After the exams, we moved on to choosing frames. A staff member named Diana assisted us, initially offering to help us as a group. Since my husband had already pre-selected his frames, we decided to start with him. As she began processing his order, I stepped a short distance away to assist our daughters. During this time, Diana began listing out what was being added to my husband's order, including an upgrade to polycarbonate lenses. When I returned, I explained to my husband that this wasn't necessary for his needs--he only uses glasses for reading at night. He agreed and politely declined the upgrade. What happened next was what truly left a bad impression. Diana insisted she was "only doing what the optometrist recommended," and directly told my husband that her recommendation--not mine--was "what's best for him." When he reiterated that he preferred the basic lenses, she continued pushing the upgrade. I then asked for a detailed cost breakdown before he signed anything. Her response was dismissive, stating that it was "the same as last year plus the polycarbonate lenses," even though we had just declined that upgrade. When I reminded her again that we did not want the polycarbonate lenses, she turned to my husband and said, "But *he* does," again disregarding our discussion. Her tone suggested that I was not acting in his best interest, which I found inappropriate and disrespectful. It's one thing to make a recommendation--it's another to ignore a patient's preference and undermine a family member who is simply trying to help make an informed decision. We came in trusting that we'd receive helpful, honest service, and unfortunately, that trust was broken. We won't be returning, and we'll be looking elsewhere for our future vision care needs.
