The overall experience for our first time visit was far and beyond our expectations. For the greatest part the service we received from the reception to the practitioners was in the most exceptional and professional in manner. Thank you for being there and providing such a needed service to our community.

This guy is the only retinal specialist in Waco but after my last experience, I asked my doctor to refer me to the retinal specialist in Austin! I'd rather drive 1.5 and give my money to somebody that treats me like a patient and not just a dollar sign. There is absolutely no reason I should be waiting 3 hrs to see Castillo only for him to say ONE sentence to me and leave me more confused then when I walked in! Do not recommend this Dr. if you value your time, go elsewhere!!

Dr. Castillo is the best at what he does. You don't have to worry he dose that for u. His office is clean and the staff is the best. If you r looking for great eye care this is the place to be. Dr. Castillo is fast accurate with great president. He has saved my eyes now twice. Make tracks to see him, if you r having problems, Or just want great care. By the way he is quite and all business, but kind and compassionate. I'll be going back anytime I need care. I'm a real patient! B.R.

Dr Castillo's office has ALWAYS been very nice and polite to me but I am nice and polite to them. I have been going to that office for treatment of my eyes for many years. You are well aware your appt will be long because everyone in there they treat with respect and as far as handicapped I was in a wheelchair for about a year and a half and they were always willing to help me. I just don't know about some of these reviews I am very grateful for Texas Reyna and the staff. And Dr Castillo! Thank you Dr Castillo and staff for what you do and what you sometimes have to put up with

My mama Annette was a very long patient for years of Dr Ivan Castillo's. She had diabetic retinopathy developed from us not having ins for a bit and not affording her insulin which made the eye vessels weak and fluid leak behind the eye. We were recommend to Dr. Castillo so she didn't go blind. She was doing good with her eye injections which she didn't like to take of course they hurt but Dr. Castillo's funny character always helped her through. My sister and I went to her last appt in Nov and I could tell the injections were helping greatly. She could see about 6 lines down 20/20 in one eye and we we celebrating because when she first came in she could only see the very big first line. I was supposed to take her to her doctor appt today but she passed away a week ago suddenly from cardiac arrest. We will miss all the staff and Dr. Castillo. Thanks for the years of service. This practice works like a well owned machine From the front office, testing and of course the technicians that work directly with Dr. Castillo are amazing. And I feel extremely confident with Dr. Castillo giving my eye injections. I've been practice administrator for doctors over 30 years and only wish I could be the one that had this office running so efficiently. Good job!
