Moran Eye Center at Farmington Health Center

I just had the worst experience with the Farmington Moran Eye center, I took my father to the Moran Eye center which is an hour and half from his house anf who's is 73 old has epileptic seizures and Parkinson's and does not have the ability to drive only to have the front desk that his appointment had be canceled for the day and that they had tried to contact him. After returning home another hour half drive I checked his phone for missed calls, voicemails or a text message and no one had tried to contact him so I of course call Moran to see what they could do to rectify the situation and all we got was they offered to reschedule the appointment. I would higher recommend to anyone that they take there business elsewhere because they obviously don't respect your time and effort, but if you don't show up, they expect to be paid a fee

I was billed $351.42. They gave me a discount that brought the total to $245.99. The majority of the assessment was done by a tech (drops, pressure check, old lens prescription assessment, the "follow my finger" and "how many am I holding up"). I spent roughly 11 minutes with the actual doctor. The exam was the quickest, least thorough, I have ever had in my life. How is this even ethical or legal to charge that amount of money for a basic eye exam and glasses prescription (that hadn't even changed in one eye)? There was no amazing medical technology or some wild exam done, this is the same exam we all got at the mall in the 90s. A lot of places will even take a picture of your retina, not this place. The price for the basic eye exam that I had discussed with a representative was not disclosed as being this much or I'd have never done my exam here. Don't go here, they are not offering anything that isn't offered at the one at Walmart, Costco, or the eye doctor in the mall. I will add: Everyone was very friendly and respectful. But this is not the place for basic eye exams.

Really easy experience, showed up with no appointment and looked at glasses. When I was ready I went to the next available clerk. One thing to consider is that their glasses are all brand name and expensive. I wish they had some cheaper options. They are one of the only in-store shops I found that you can get the FL-41 migraine lenses.

Extremely rude front desk. Booked incorrectly for two different appointments months apart from each other. Wasted my time twice to show up for appointment only to be told the first doctor doesn't actually do what I needed (eye exam, contact fitting and glasses prescription) and then when rebooking for months later with their front desk I was told that the doctor they booked me with is out of my network. He was so rude and flippant about it. Such a poor representation of the U.

The front desk lady gave me so much attitude and sass when I didnt understand some insurance thing. Incredibly rude and unprofessional

I have never had an eye doctor that let me take my time trying to see what was best for me during an eye exam or an optometric staff that was so good. Seriously, every optometrist I have been to has been so quick through the exam but this was a nice change of pace! I missed my initial appointment and they were able to get me in that same week (at the end of the year no less when it gets super busy) and they are very prompt in responding. My trial contacts were bugging me and I let Dr. Dahl know and he had his staff right on it within a few minutes. 10/10 would recommend to a friend...and strangers.

My dad, Gary, had the most helpful interaction at Dr. Zaugg's office today with the receptionist (maybe Laura?). She was kind, attentive and friendly. She took the time to help him filling out his paperwork and he wanted to make sure to let everyone know what a great experience he had today and to say "thanks" again!

I was trying to figure out the price for contacts and I talked to someone. She talked on the phone sounded inappropriate, sounded like in hurry, trying to hang up asap. She puts on hold for 10 min just to figure out the price for contacts. I thought it was weird that she mentions price, without saying exact number like "over $200". How lazy to tell the exact price after spending 10 min on hold.
