Moran Eye Center at Redstone Health Center

I went to the optical shop to get my glasses adjusted and repaired. A screw came out and the lens fell out. Threads were also stripped on the glasses. A very nice gentleman with a beard helped and did an excellent repair. Thanks!

My appointment was at 8:00. I was led back to the room and had a 4 minute intake and walked out at 8:47 after hearing the doctor come in at 8:45 and announced good morning. Do these people honestly believe that as " normal " people we have no responsibility, no kids , no wife. Well guess what we have 24 hours a day and our time is precious also. It's sick that you honestly believe that your time is some how more important than ours.

I came here for an eye exam after confirming twice that it would be covered--first through United Healthcare's website and then again with the receptionist over the phone. Unfortunately, I was later told it was out of network and was stuck with a $400 bill. Had I known this beforehand, I never would have scheduled my appointment here. Very disappointed and would not recommend.

I echo the reviewers that say that the staff treat customers like they are a bother. Today I picked up my prescription glasses. The optician handed them to me--in the box! I opened it and said well, I guess they fit, and she said "great!". that was literally the only word she said. I went home and scanned the QR code and found out that the frames have adjustable temples and nose pads and that the lenses could be exchanged. She did not exhibit any pride in her work nor any desire to teach me about my new purchase. What a shame the staff are so unwelcoming because the doctors are excellent.

I wanted to share my recent experience with the Moran Eye Center, which, up until this point, had been quite positive. However, a recent incident has left me feeling rather disappointed. About two months ago, I purchased a pair of glasses from them, which were, of course, covered by a warranty. Unfortunately, a screw fell out of the frame, which I believe is a fairly common issue that can occur with glasses. Expecting a straightforward repair, I returned to the Moran Eye Center, only to be informed that they could not locate a matching screw for the repair. To my surprise, they also offered no further assistance or advice on where I might find a replacement or how to proceed with fixing my glasses elsewhere. Given that this was a clear-cut warranty issue, it felt as if the Moran Eye Center had abandoned their post-sale responsibilities. There was no attempt to provide customer service beyond the initial purchase. It is my opinion that once they make the sale, your needs as a customer become a secondary concern. I would caution potential customers to consider this when choosing an optometry provider. The sale is just one part of the customer experience; the quality of aftercare is equally important and a true reflection of a business's commitment to its customers. Unfortunately, based on my experience, the Moran Eye Center seems to fall short in this aspect. I would recommend finding an optometrist who values customer service consistently, even after the glasses leave the store.

The staff at the Moran Eye Center at Redstone is exceptional. From the scheduling agent, technicians and doctors, my experiences at Redstone have been extremely positive. The clinic is such a valuable asset to our community and Dr Coyle is an outstanding care giver.

The staff is very friendly. Dr Coyle is amazing, I'm happy that I can communicate with him in Spanish. Sonny and Jana always help me with my glasses.
