Focus Eye Center

I love Focus Eye Center! All the staff are friendly and easy to talk to. The tech Alexa was awesome and did great with my tests and pictures. Dr Hammons is attentive and listens to my concerns and helped me address all of them. Tia was great in helping me get set up ordering what I needed. All around a great appointment. Plus they have great lenses!

Loved this place. Such a beautiful facility. The staff were all very kind and the doctor was laid back and extremely knowledgeable. They also worked with my insurance seamlessly. An all around great experience!

My kids and I love coming here for our eye exams and eye glass repairs. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable on the doctor side, but also the staff up front working with glasses and insurance. The husband and wife duo is my favorite among staff because they get to know us beyond the glasses. The only lack of stars (probably out of their control) is the high cost of glasses for kids. It's tough, but if you save up they've got a high quality selection of glasses and a little kid room to keep kids busy if needed. Pictured is my kids 3rd pair of eye glasses from focus eye center. She snapped one pair, scratched the other within 2 years. We are hoping to not need another visit, only because the glasses are so cute.

I paid $400 for prescription glasses and received them with a used cleaning cloth and no case. My appointment was on 01/16/2026. I received the glasses on 02/02/2026 -- and as of today (03/04/2026), I am still waiting for the case that should have been included from the beginning. On 02/24/2026, I received a text saying my case had arrived and would be shipped the next day. That clearly did not happen. When I called today to follow up, the person who answered was dismissive and dry, telling me she "doesn't know" and that there's "no knowing here!." That's not acceptable customer service -- especially after spending $400. At this point, this isn't about a glasses case anymore. It's about poor communication, lack of follow-through, and zero accountability.

Focus Eye Center is a great facility! I showed up about 20 minutes late because I had mixed up my appointment time (sorry again ) and they were so kind about it and I was able to still get my eye exam done and order my glasses, and a bonus that my glasses will be ready within a few days instead of a few weeks.! The facility is so clean and the staff is so kind and personable, I felt comfortable and would absolutely recommend.!

I have had nothing but problems with this place. From the beginning, there were issues with billing. They forgot to charge me for the prism in my daughter's glasses, which later felt like hidden fees rather than a transparent mistake. A week after receiving the glasses, I asked my daughter how she was seeing with them. She told me she couldn't see out of them and described them as feeling like a magnifying glass. This was especially concerning because the doctor originally explained that her eyes mostly weren't working together and that she did not need a strong prescription. When I called to explain that she couldn't see out of the glasses and shared my disappointment with how things were going, they scheduled an appointment to evaluate the issue. Before that appointment, they called back and admitted they had ordered the wrong prescription and asked me to simply drop the glasses off so they could fix them for free--which I appreciated. When I dropped the glasses off, I briefly mentioned (while walking out) that the new case was already broken. Unfortunately, the staff didn't realize I could still hear them and began mocking me--laughing and saying, "Poor baby... the case is broken, oh no." That behavior was completely unprofessional and disrespectful. Mistakes can happen, but how a business treats its customers--especially parents advocating for their children--matters. Love this place! I take all my kiddos including one with Down syndrome. The optometrist is very kind and gentle with her. Such a great experience every time and affordable too.

I was very pleased with the Focus Eye center in St George Utah. Checking in was pleasant, they respected my time, the procedures were explained well, the doctor was friendly and informative. The furnishings are lovely, clean and comfortable They asked how they could do better and I honestly could not think of a single way. I highly recommend their services!
