I made an appointment here in Oct of 2023 for Oct of 2024. When I called to confirm my appointment, I was informed that I did not have an appointment. I rescheduled for Jan of 2025. They told me my co pay would be $55 and off I went. They did not properly verify my insurance before my visit. If you are looking for a more professionally run OD, I recommend going to Optical Expressions in Barre VT.

This was the worst experience I've had at an eye doctor. The exam was rushed and the prescription was written incorrectly (the place I got my frames had to contact them to get the correct info). They incorrectly billed us, then refunded us. Then months later they start texting and sending mail demanding payment for what their office had refunded us. My advice? Stay far far away from this scam office.

Was always happy with them until today. My husband made an appointment with them a year ago for today. He went there and they did not have it scheduled. Was told next appointment was the end of February. Doesn't help me as I need the exam before I see my primary care doctor in February. Now he has to go somewhere else. Not acceptable

Dr. Fellows has his office at Costco, but that space is being remodeled. The office he's renting now is incredibly SPACIOUS! I kind of wish he'd stay there. Parking was easy and plentiful. It was also quick and easy to get in and out of the lot. Bread crumbs would have been nice to find his office, though. :/ One thing to note is the armless rolling office chair they use. This office space is carpeted and the one at Costco is not. Also at Costco, the space is VERY CRAMPED. When that chair rolls before you're fully seated, it can't move that far before it hits something. Not at all in this much larger space. Staff offered no warning, (and this person wore NO MASK, if that bothers you as well), when the chair suddenly moved away from me. "Oh, it does that." is woefully out of touch. They have fabulous equipment otherwise. Now, PLEASE, get a safer chair! I really like Dr. Fellows. I feel respected. I ask questions and he answers them. He makes me feel my questions are valid. Dr. Fellows is on leave right now because he's in the National Guard. There is another doctor subbing for him. I like him overall. My one concern was his reaction to my questions about the medication he prescribed. He seemed a bit defensive and not happy I asked. I expect better. Perhaps that was an unfortunate moment. Plus, Dr. Fellows is a tough act to follow. I highly recommend Dr. Fellows.

Thorough and excellent care is provided at this office. They warmly educate and are very friendly.
