The office is quiet and comfortable. Dr. McClintic is a wonderful optometrist. She answered my questions and was patient with me. The entire staff here is kind and welcoming. Ciere described each of the tests to me and has great manner with clients. When I picked my frames, Lisa the optical manager quickly helped me fill a tray with potential options to try on. She has a lovely personality, too. I would recommend this practice to anyone.

By far the best eye doctor experience I've had over 30 years. Staff were delightful, space was clean, bright, efficient with the newest technology (no more puffs of air or eye drops!) and Dr. McClintic was the most personable OD I've met. She identified several things that should make a real difference in my daily life. I also really appreciate the responsiveness via text messaging as a communication option. Highly recommend.

Dr Mitchell and his staff are absolutely wonderful and professional. Went in for an eye exam and a new prescription. The office is very clean , well lit and inviting . Everyone including the receptionist are so friendly, kind and patient. Very advanced technology in this office . Dr Mitchell was patient , thorough and went above and beyond to make sure my prescription was accurate. He answered all my questions and made me feel very comfortable with the eye exam . I would definitely recommend anyone to to this office for your vision needs . I'd even go as far as to say this was the best experience I've ever had at an optometrist office. So glad to be a new patient.

Outstanding service and the only place I could get in without a six month waitlist, but I wish I had done more homework and discovered they don't accept insurance. Or that it was made more clear up front. I truly hate the state of our general insurance industry... Only 10% of my fairly expensive exam was covered.

My family has been going to MREC for about 4-5 years if I can remember correctly and it has been really nice not having to drive hours away for an appointment and Dr. Mitchell has been great. However the last couple years has been quite the challenge especially this last year where all of our appointments had been needed to be rescheduled appointments that were made a year in advance. I understand that things happen which was why the first year this happened a couple times it was what it was however this year it has been every appointment makes me wonder what the level of care really is when they cancel appointments that were made ahead of time that are convenient for a family, to struggling find a new appointment time that works with a families needs and availability and then having to wait longer because to nothing works. Also as someone who has worn glasses for 28 years and only gets new ones every 8-10 years I was very disappointed by the quality of the lenses I paid for this past fall. Treating these lenses better then I have any other pair and they already look like I've had them for 10 years I'm less then pleased by this and their response after about 4 months of owning them was to pay 30 to get a new pair which in my mind what is the point when they don't hold up.

Mad River Eye Care is a truly patient-centered practice. From the front desk to the doctors, everyone is focused on providing the best possible care. Judy the front desk receptionist is an excellent communicator, patient and kind. Judy demonstrated excellent customer service while prioritizing the needs of the patient offering flexibility with a cheerful attitude. Lenny our Optometric Technician, was efficient and friendly. The technical expertise he showed along with providing direct patient care and educating the patient was unparalleled. Dr. Morgan McClintic is very thorough with her exams. She provided excellent explanations that were clear and explained various options, spent extra time answering questions with ease and patience. Her passion for eye care and her rapport with her patients through conversation and humor allowed for a stress-free visit for the patient. Excellent service in the optical center. Danielle was such a pleasure to work with just adding to the 5-star experience. The optician was so patient and knowledgeable and recommended some brands to help me choose. I will be ordering some glasses soon.
