I've been going to White River family eyecare for years, and my recent visit was another excellent experience. Doctor He took her time and was incredibly thorough in fine-tuning my prescription. No small task given my history of multiple eye surgeries. At the front desk, Nicole was fantastic as always, helping me navigate insurance and reimbursement, and she and Alicia did a great job assisting me in choosing new frames and the right kind of sunglasses for my vision. Truly top-notch Care from a great team!

During the eye exam, Sandra did not ask my name, say "hello," or ask how I am--any basic, decent greeting was missing. I asked her for a financial accommodation to obtain the cheapest pair of glasses I desperately needed now and to pay at the end of the month, and I was told "no." I pray for t'zedakah and t'shuvah for this missed opportunity to help a client in need. Given the failure to embody hospitality, kindness, charitable concern--the appropriate rating is one star--unsatisfactory experience below the standards for how we should treat one another. "You shall love your neighbor as yourself" - Leviticus 19:18; "Do not turn away a needy person" - Deuteronomy 15:7. On their website as of February 12, 2026 it states "Please note that White River Family Eyecare is currently booking appointments 12 months out and Hanover Eyecare is currently booking appointments 7 months out." The request for assistance presented to them is inconsequential with respect to the scale of their operation.
