I don't like the fact that I had to smell the person's breath/scent that was before me because she did not disinfect the area. I could not wait to get home and shower. Shoot, she did not even use hand sanitizer either. She didn't clean or wipe down the equipments after the person before me or after I got done. Weird, considering COVID is still an issue. I should have said something but I didn't and held it in for this review. I may go back and I do like her a lot and the convenience. However, next time I will walk out if I notice no change. She needs to improve in that area because skin to skin infection is a thing!

I have been to several optometrists throughout the years and Maria was by far the best. She was very thorough, clearly cares about her patients, and my contacts are very sharp and comfortable. I cannot recommend her enough!

Today I had my eyes examined for the second time by Dr Steinleitner. She is very professional, thorough and pleasant. She had a new machine that allowed her to see what dilation would have. But, I didn't have to walk around blinded by the dilation! Her husband helps with part of the exam making for a quick and easy operation. Definitely more than 5 stars. Update: I am nearsighted so her suggestion to have a second pair of glasses for computer work was PERFECT. Why I never asked about that before astounds me now. No more sore neck from bending my head back to see screen. Love it! ANOTHER UPDATE: JULY 2024 At my last exam, the doctor saw something that she suggested I follow up with an Opthalmologist. Sure enough. She saw a precursor to glaucoma. To my dismay she was right. Thank God she recommended that to me. I shall always be grateful.

I went to see Dr. Steinleiner because she is the Optometrist who is listed by the Costco Optical Dept. in N. Chesterfield, but now I'm a lifetime fan of her: She careful listened to me and used excellent instruments to diagnose what needed to be done. My previous doctors had basically given up on trying to help me, telling me that my age and extreme astigmatism made it impossible to find a good solution. Will only see her from now on!

I've been coming here for years. Both Dr & her husband are great people. They're always friendly & I rather pay out of pocket than deal with a doctor that takes my insurance.

love her! Dr Steinleitner, is always available for any issues. I lost my prescription and called and left a message. She returned my call while on vacation and was able to assist me. Talk about awesome service!

I've been going to see Dr Steinleightner for several years. Recently my vision was getting worse and fast. I went to an Opthamologist who attributed the changes to aging and offered little help. I brought my issues to Dr Steinleightner and she was extremely patient and offered helpful tips and mitigation strategies. I couldn't have been more pleased with her help.

No nonsense professional! I have been a fan and patient for about three years and am planning another appointment. Dr. Steinleitmer is a great listener and an excellent diagnostician. The office is well equipped with high quality testing equipment.
