Absolutely awesome staff! I had a cataract removed by Dr. Chung, who has a lot of experience. He's not the type to socialize with his patients beyond dealing with your eye problem, but he deals with your eye problem extremely well and will fix it if able. Dr. Chung did my cataract surgery. Him and his staff are the best of the best. Total surgery time was less than 20 minutes. I chose the laser assisted option. My vision is now fully restored and I am able to see better than before the cataract. I also want to give Dr. Chung's surgical coordinator, Paula, a shout-out. My original surgery date was July 8th, but my vision deteriorated rapidly and she got my appointment moved to April 29th. She kept me informed and called my primary care team and got them to fax the paperwork after they forgot. I highly recommend this team to handle your eye issues.

I love Dr. Snyder. She's so personable, thorough and caring. The tech who did the diagnostic tests was excellent too. She was very knowledgeable, kind and friendly. I don't want to go anywhere else for my eye exams!

I had an appointment with Dr. Snyder at 2:45, showed up early at 2:25, was taken back around 3 by an assistant. I was there till 4:58 and never seen by a doctor or checked up on by anyone. At that point I just walked out since they close at 5 and there was still no doctor in sight. This is an extremely unreliable place I would never recommend to anyone. I waited a month for this appointment and my time was completely wasted. They have no respect for their patients time. I would suggest to stay away.

Dr. Snyder is a sweet and caring doctor who truly wants to help her patients. I feel more confident and calm after my appointment today. Thank you for helping answer my concerns.

I made an appointment to have a stye removed from my eye lid. They had me go through preliminary eye exams and standard eye procedures prior to removing the stye, they even dilated my eyes...after all of this they told me that this was only a new patient appointment and that the doctor who could remove my stye would not be able to see me for over a month! Then they want me to pay them for a bogus appointment. Complete lack of medical transparency. I do not recommend this practice.

Dr Snyder and staff were amazing. I don't have enough nice things to say about my experience with them. My mom has dementia and can be a difficult patient. The staff was incredibly patient with her and answered all of my questions and concerns. I'm extremely grateful for their help today.

Hmm, bad vibes as soon as I walked in. All the patients seem to have been waiting a long time. Sounded like there was 1 Dr. Claustrophobic waiting room, way too small especially when ppl like to put their coats in the empty chairs. Plus, the refraction machine is in the waitingroom . First time patient never will go back!

I have been a patient of Dr. Chung for a couple of years and he has been consistently thorough, professional and kind. He has a way to put patients at ease and explain a diagnostic on layman's terms. His staff is caring, efficient and patient. I recommend Gainesville Eye Associates wholeheartedly.
