Riverside Urology is wonderful place to go too. Wonderful staff and nurse. Dr. Chad Pusateri is wonderful doctor and cannot wait to go back to see him.
Do not go here a wast of time they cancle my son's apartment three times an the fun part is there schedule hasn't contacted me about setting up my son apartment. If yiu have a preemie baby do not go here go anywhere else.
Dr. Arteaga is absolutely amazing. He truly cares about his patients and goes the extra step to make sure they're taken care of. He doesn't brush off your concerns or rush through the appointment. I've never left his office feeling less than or disheartened. He works hard to figure out any issue you're having and why. I'm so grateful that I found him! I highly recommend choosing him as your eye doctor.
My original optometrist could not see me for a month. My prescription was expired and i needed contacts so I made an appointment to come in. The day of my appointment. I got there 15 minutes before my appointment and the front desk said I had to go sit outside because you can't come in until 10 minutes before your appointment. I looked to my left and right there where no other patients in the bldg so I said its no one here ,,,,may I speak to a manager, Spoke with the manager she said the same thing, I asked could I speak to the Doctor I was told she was at lunch. By this time I said to myself, I'm a disable black 61 year old man I need to sit down and not debate about empty seats when I am in here by myself.
When I met the doctor she was very distant with me and said I need to come back for another exam because my insurance would pay for it. I said to her the only reason I'm here is because I was out of contacts and that's all I was there for.
When I came back to try the two type of lenses, she said she could only get one type. Therefore, I can't compare lenses and she said I would be able too. I said to her at the point I just want to get my prescription and order from someone else and take the samples you got for me, I am declining the other procedure you wanted me to do because my insurance would pay for it. I felt at this point I am not coming back to this place even though I had been forewarn not to go to this place because how they treat clients. But I said I just need a prescription.
Today February 12, I received a certified letter from the OFFICE MANAGER, Joanne Neal, whom I have never met threatening me that my behavior has been inappropriate and disruptive not only to our staff but to other patients who are present . (Remember I said it wasn't anyone else in the waiting room while I was there. She then said please know that any future disruptions or unprofessional behavior will warrant a termination from our practice. I had already decided I was not coming back once I got my prescription.
She then states, If You choose to schedule an eye appointment at HREA-Hampton, this behavior will not be tolerated.
As a Black disable man who is 61, How can JOANNE NEAL make these conclusions about me and I have NEVER met this "KAREN"?.
Dr. Guo is amazing he's a very gifted surgeon with a smiling attitude. He just finished my left eye surgery for a lens implant and I can see perfect I can't wait for my right eye to be done soon he is a true gem with extremely sure hands! May God bless them all there as they are an excellent team working together in harmony thank you so much!!!. Rene' Baker
I have glaucoma and was referred here by my PCP. They called me to schedule an appointment and told me the next available date was 2027. Why call me? I'll be blind. I won't need you by then.
Went to the optical shop at Hampton Roads associates in Hampton, Va to select glasses and Kishna assisted me! She is extremely knowledgeable, patient and kind. She helped find the shape and size that was best for my daughter's face and guided us through this whole process with nothing but professionalism. She also offered advice and expertise that was on our level and easy to understand to help us formulate our decision. I would 100% come back and trust her with my daughter's eyes! Lastly the glasses she recommended was something I probably would have never thought to try for my 10 year old but they are freaking perfect for her face, she loves them and it's really boosted her self image of having to wear glasses! Thank you Kishna at HRA optical!
One morning I noticed that I had a lot of redness in my eye. My daughter had recently seen a new optometrist who is at another location, so I called and asked to be seen by her. She wasn't available, so they set me up with Dr Pisetzner right away. I was grateful and impressed with how quickly I was seen. The tech I worked with was really kind and thorough and I appreciated her greatly. I waited a long while to see the doctor, but as I was just for in, I understood. My eyes were dilated and I was without my contacts for about two hours, but that was okay too. Once the doctor came, he told me that I just had a burst blood vessel in my eye and that it would heal quickly. Okay, fine. But then he started talking about my correction. I wear extended wear contacts and have for over 30 years. He told me(counter to all advice I'd received from many optometrists) that I absolutely had to stop wearing my contacts overnight. It was not presented with any new information or evidence(changes he saw to my eyes, injury, or even new studies done), nor was it presented as a suggestion. It seemed more of a directive. I went away and scheduled my follow up, as directed. That follow up was yesterday. It was okay at first; the tech (a different one from the first) made a couple mistakes, but that was okay. Then the doctor came in. He asked me again about my contacts, and I said that I had still been wearing them overnight. This started an argument, where he insisted that I could not continue doing so or I would lose my sight. Again, no evidence or explanation was offered. Just that I would contract an eye infection and lose my sight. I tried to explain to him that when I wore daily contacts, I did have infections, but that other than a single case of pinkeye, I have never had a problem with my eyes at all before the broken blood vessel of a few weeks ago. He did not budge, telling me I had to break the "habit," as if I were chewing my nails, instead of following 30 years of advice from other eye professionals. He also admonished me to get glasses ASAP (which I do plan to do soon, but I am short on money at the moment, due to big home repairs). I agreed, and went to tell him that I would be doing it soon, but not that day. He cut me off, as if I had disagreed with him(I was trying to tell him that I didn't want to deal with glasses that day, in case he was planning to send me right over), then handed me my chart and sent me out to check out. I still didn't have my contacts in, and he told me to put them in in the bathroom. I couldn't see the bathroom signs, so I wandered a bit, before being told that I couldn't take my chart in. All in all a frustrating and irritating experience. I won't be returning.
