Eye & Vision Care of Haymarket

My entire family comes to Eye & Vision of Haymarket. We love Dr. Frederick. She is so kind, knowledgeable, explains everything so thoroughly, cares about your eye health and patiently listens to all your questions. The staff is also amazing! Jaime, Felicity and the front desk ladies (I'm terrible with names ). They always go above and beyond, warmly greeting patients, detailed explanations. Honestly never seen a better team in a medical setting. If you're looking for a new ophthalmologist, stop looking and book with Dr. Frederick and her awesome team!

I had a very bad experience seeing a doctor at this ophthalmology clinic. After going in, the doctor was very enthusiastic about receiving you. However, every time I asked him about the fees he needed, she would say that these were covered by insurance and very cheap. She then asked me to do a few tests, but there was no treatment. She also prescribed some medicine for me. The prescription drugs were purchased separately at CVS, and there was a check fee before leaving, which seemed to be $39 .The US dollars had to be paid on-site When I got home, I found that the bill came in for 400 US dollars, which scared me. The insurance only covered 100 US dollars, which was a very bad experience because I knew that there would be many unknown tests or hidden expenses in ophthalmology. So I repeatedly emphasized whether the attending doctor would have to spend a lot of money. The staff and doctors at this clinic have a very good attitude, but they have a tendency to deceive customers by constantly scheduling appointments with you and coming back again. However, there is no treatment process, only a bunch of checks and outdated machines. Overall, there are many things you don't know about. When you get home, a bunch of bills will come, inexplicable bills will come to your house. I tried to communicate with them over the phone and said that when I talked to them on the same day and asked about fees, they were vague and repeatedly deceived customers. I think it is an extremely dishonest business. I will not recommend anyone!

Dr. Lam is amazing. She was really through with the eye exam to for the contacts that I see actually see with. No dryness and clear vision. Thank you !

Dr.Jacqueline Fredrick is incredibly knowledgeable and always takes the time to fully explain my eye health concerns. Dr. Fredrick and her staff are very patient and make sure I understand everything about my treatment plan, and I feel completely confident in their expertise and always leave the appointment feeling well-cared for. thoroughness in examinations, clear explanations of diagnoses, attentiveness to concerns, friendly demeanor, professional, ability to put me at ease, advanced knowledge of eye care, and promptness in addressing issue. And each patient is given quality attention. Dr. Fredrick and her staff are the best ever. I am blessed to have Dr. Fredrick and her staff caring for me and my family. Outstanding service they were so friendly and helpful. I was in a rush and they accommodated that to the best of their ability and got my glasses to me within a day!

While the staff was lovely, I'm not sure I'll be back. When I made the appointment I was told there were no additional fees after my co-pay. Only to learn there is a REQUIRED fee for the photos of my eyes. So that was a not very fun surprise. The frames are all expensive...too scared to ask about the lenses. It felt like they just wanted to keep upselling us. When I asked for our prescriptions...they were not given to us. So I can't say I'd want to go back.

So very helpful when picking out my new pair of glasses! Everyone was lovely, highly recommend.
