I write reviews when a product or service stands apart from mediocrity whether good or bad. In this case, I had a truly outstanding experience at this optometrist office. Upon checking in, the administrative staff was warm, attentive, and incredibly helpful from addressing forms, working with my insurance coverage, and assisting with glasses selection; they made everything feel seamless and welcoming. Dr. Spangler was exceptional. She didn't just address my vision issues; she brought real clarity to them. She patiently listened and took the time to explain everything in a way that was easy to understand and thoughtfully walked me through my options, making sure they aligned with my lifestyle. With every interaction, I never felt rushed and felt genuinely supported throughout the entire visit. If you're looking for an office that combines professionalism, kindness, and expert care, I can't recommend this location highly enough. It was akin to scenarios you see in commercials. Y'all Rock!

Great service. On time appointment. Quick to see the doctor and go through all the results. The selected frames. I was in and out in 30 mins. Nice group of people and good service.

I must say! Dr. Sarah Spangler is very passionate about her care and knowledge regarding the health and importance of the eye. She really takes the time to explain how our diet impacts our vision. My experience with Dr. Spangler is aways STELLER.

Put in a request for glasses Jan 8th. Enquired two weeks later, today and was told it might be available end of next week. That's 3 weeks to make glasses or more at this point . I'd appreciate if effort is spent on fixing the supply chain rather than correcting me on it's been 8 business days vs 2 weeks on th call.

RVA Eye Care staff were very nice and the registration process was very easy. Dr. Spangler was fabulous, courteous and listened carefully to my concerns. Highly recommended with no hesitation.

Front desk staff were amazing and friendly. The doctor was so thorough with my daughters eye examination. Highly recommended especially with small kids, they have some coloring activities on the corner and some toys where they can be entertained.
