I had an appointment with Dr. Larrabee, earlier today and was so impressed by him that I had to write a review!! Dr. Larrabee, is everything you want every doc to be!! Dr. Larrabee is the real deal!! He not only examined my eyes, checked for cataracts & the overall health of my eyes, he explained my new script & how to choose the right frames for the changes so I would actually use my new glasses. he spent so much time with me & I'm assuming he does with all his patients.
Dr. Larrabee, is such a kind, professional & caring Optometrist, if you're looking for a new eye doc, Dr. Larrabee is your guy!!

Jessica gives a friendly greeting amidst her many other duties. She is amazing at multitasking and keeps the office running smoothly. She was able to track down my insurance number when others could not locate it since I had a change in status. Dr. Larrabee does a thorough exam. He answers all my questions as well as educates me on my particular condition. I feel assured that I am getting the best eye care possible.

I really like Dr Larabee however his front desk ladies are horrible and rude. They talk about other patients using last name and stating how of course he is asking for free samples. Spoke with the Dr about the issues the front desk ladies want to jump in . Just rude.

I have worn contacts for years. I have always had trouble putting them in. Dr. Larrabee was very firm the first time I saw him. No one should leave with contacts who can't put them in properly. He was not exactly rude, but he was insistent. That was a few years ago. What used to take me 5-10 minutes now takes takes a few seconds. His training was helpful even if initially I was a little put off. Now, I wish my prior optometrists had been insistent instead of letting me leave without proper technique.

Only giving the one star because the ladies at the front desk were very nice and very sweet. But the doctor made a very insensitive comment in regards to my 5 year old autistic daughter. He didn't even bother to try and examine her eyes and told me to bring her back when she's not having an episode. I will never go back here.

New to the area and haven't had glasses in 7+ years, went in for an eye exam, process before the exam (paperwork) was smooth, smooth until I went to do the eye exam, started out good until he started seeming impatient with how long I took to respond to which lens was better or that I could barely see the tiny letters on the mirror, I also "picked all the wrong ones" and we did a re-do, that one came out better, but not by much. By the end of the exam I was just ready to get out of there, if I could give 0, I would and I would never recommend anyone to go here. Unprofessional and rude.

My wife made an appointment for me at this office. During the conversation she specified which insurance company we have. The person she spoke with on the phone assured her that they took our insurance. When I arrived for the appointment, I was told that they did not accept our insurance. The person I spoke to in the office said she was the one that took the appointment over the phone and claimed my wife told her that we had a different insurance. I told her that I overheard the conversation and that my wife had specified the correct insurance. They person just responded with , "well, we don't accept that insurance..." over and over again. Waste of my time.

Awesome experience going to this optometrist. The eye exam went very smoothly and the Acuvue Oasys contacts get recommended me are the best contacts I've worn so far. Dr. Larrabee is great and I will be going there from now on.
