appointment was at 2pm. wasn't called back until 3:30. front desk ladies were nice. however, why are patients being scheduled when they're not able to be seen at scheduled time? i can understand a 15-20 min wait. it's fine, you get behind. but an hour and a half to see the doctor? ridiculous.

everything was great until i came to the optical dept. i just needed my bridge/ pupil distance measurement. i sat there for 10 minutes waiting for the young lady while she was at lunch . i could literally see her. i asked how much longer and she stated about 15 more minutes. you mean to tell me that you couldn't take 2 minutes to do a measurement and you wanted the customer to wait 15-20 more minutes!!!! Poor customer service. Last time going to that location.

I went to this VEI and was charged along with my insurance company for a contact exam that I did not receive. According to the provider it is a common practice for the VEI to charge for contact exams if a patient request a contact prescription without actually receiving an exam (Fraudulent).I called and asked to speak with the office manager and they have yet to call me and it's been 2 months and I have not received a call. So I'll be reaching out to the BBB, the National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB), the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Office of Inspector General (OIG) hotline, Virginia state Department of Insurance, and my health insurance company.

It makes a HUGE difference when employees like you enjoy your job and make patients feel welcomed and informed. I Highly recommend this location because it's easy to get to and it's on the first floor with plenty of parking spots.

I have been a patient for many years. The past three visits confirmed that I will never go back again. From check in to pre-doctor visit to waiting in the room for the doctor was about an hour and a half. From the minute I walked in to the time I walked out, without ever having seen the doctor, I encountered an uncaring, unprofessional and most unpleasant experience. Rude, disrespectful and impatient reception and tech staff that left me leaving the practice. Unfortunate that I never got to see the doctor who is actually nice and professional, one of the few doctors who are.

Absolutely wonderful experience with Dr. Jetton, she was patient and knowledgeable. Auxiliary staff was also great. Check in was a little cumbersome with the kiosk but the front desk clerk was helpful. Dr. Jetton's assistant was also fabulous. The pharmacy/shop next door is also an incredible bonus.

I went in for a second opinion about an itchiness and watery discharge from my right eye. I later learned that it was being irritated from an essential oil I was using at the time.
I do want to acknowledge that the front desk worker and nurse were AMAZING--very caring, super friendly and listened to all my concerns. Thank you to them!
My low rating is due to the pressure to pursue pricy cosmetic surgery to resolve my issue and every day treatments for the rest of my life in order to resolve my issue. The doctor even brought in an cosmetic surgery "expert" to give me more information. Felt like this doctor was in the mood to sell more than heal.
In summary, save your money and avoid the sales pitch.
