Great optician! I love this shop so much I drive down from Washington, DC for my glasses. They recently handled a complicated prescription on a short schedule and even fixed a problem created by my optometrist - they went above and beyond to help me. Absolutely the best in the business.

Rachel is fabulous, and her selection of frames is amazing! If you are tired of the same boring selection of glasses that all the stores carry, then this is your new optical store! You'll thank me later! Although, it will be hard to pick just one pair!

Update May 2021 Just bought two more pairs of wonderful glasses! Still lovin' Occoquan Optical Wonderful local business featuring unique frames that you can't find elsewhere in our area. Extremely friendly and personalized service. My new electric-blue frame glasses have garnered more compliments than any other pair I've owned. Have ordered more glasses since and will continue to patronize. Check them out.

Found the sunglasses I have been trying to get in prescription lenses for years. I could have gotten these cheaper online, but the customer service was the best experience I have had in years. Quite honestly, the owner was extremely pleasant and had good conversation, I almost forgot I was buying something there! This is the way business should be done! She also has an abundance of smaller, more unique glasses to choose from. She is a small business that supports other small businesses in the brands she carries. On top of that, after the purchase she offered a gift certificate to one of several local retailers in the Occoquan. Support local small businesses!

Occoquan Optical rocks! They have the most unique frames and the owner is a delight. She selected frames for me that were spot on great looks for my coloring, face shape, and personality. I am indecisive and she was very patient and made the experience fun. They have so many fun looks, I almost bought 2 pairs at once. Check them out if you are looking for frames you won't see on everyone.

This is the best little secret in Northern Virginia. The choice of frames are great but the real beauty is how the owner is so caring and works so well with you to find the most amazing glasses. I will never go anywhere else for glasses.

I LOVE their frames! Nothing like it in this area. While I really, really like my optometrist, they just don't have exciting frames. I had been going all the way to Fredericksburg to another frame shop, but the communication hassles and the distance became too much. OCCOQUAN OPTICAL ALL THE WAY!
